I used to work in a parts store for many years and had a co-worker that was a jerk and told me I should be home barefoot and pregnant and other chauvinistic things to me and the other gal I worked with. The guys weren't too keen on him either. He wasn't too bright, obviously, so I prank called him back at the parts counter and had him looking for a radiator for a Corvair. He was looking for quite a while and I got nasty and belittled him over the phone and hung up on him, which made him nuts and he was digging through the book like crazy. I walked back there a couple of minutes later and asked him what was up, he told me he just couldn't find it. I not so nicely broke the news to him that they were air cooled and laughed at him. After other co-workers pulling similar stuff on him, he finally quit. Those little cars hold a special place in my heart.

Kent, I am an old timer living in Australia [ Ex-US-Person ], and I have to say those 2 lads of yours cheer me up no end when I see them tech-chattin and having fun. Priceless youngsters in contrast to so much of the youth that has been radacalized and ruined by a society out of control. Well done to you and the Mrs. for turning out those guys and you are a model for other men to follow on how give time and a part of ones self to the future. All the best and brotherly love from Australia.

Absolutely love your channel and the interaction with your boys. Slight correction about Pontiac engines. Pontiac doesn’t have a small block or big block. OK AJ has good taste. A 1965 or 1966 Corvair convertible. The Power Glide transmission was popular. A three spd or four spd. was optional. the two carb was the lowest hp. This model was known as the second design and was more flowing. The first design was more boxy and the suspension was an improvement. There are several vlogs on you tube on this car.

Looks like dad's foots better 👍 that car is awesome. I saw one painted blue and had white yanko decal accents I guess you call it . I've always liked those and you got the right year for handling and collecting. That year of coevair was safer in corners . always wanted to see one with a decent strong v6 in the back . The factory did release one with a straight six and a turbo. Jay Leno's garage had one on his KZbin videos . Anyway have a nice summer and good luck hunting car stuff guys . 👋 So kid can't say ambulance and I can't spell to good all the time . Nice car I hope you fix it up and am looking forward to the videos. That project truck would been something they should left the tailgate though alot of times people do use nets .

AJ the proud owner of a 65 Corvair..hooray..little man..For sure the coolest kid in school when he turns 16...i think whoever bought those GTO's will probably not ever get their money in restoration back if they sold them after the project is complete because we all know that building a Classic is a labor of love..Takes a pretty deep wallet..especially when you say GTO...i was at an auction once where a carburetor for a Packard went for 3 grand..The more desirable the car is the thicker the wallet needs to be..

I don’t know I’ve ever mentioned it in any of the comments, but my grandmother was born just outside of Enid Oklahoma in 1908 when it was still Indian territory, her parents and her uncles and their families were all part of the actual sooners. They lived in Oklahoma, well before any of the shenanigans happened. The farm that my grandmother grew up on is either under part of the track and field facilities or right next to the track and field facilities. I’m not quite sure to the exact location but I do know that one of her younger uncles was one of the first track coaches at OU. Last name was Sutter. Captain John Sutter from the California gold rush was one of her uncles. I still don’t know why they called him captain. As far as I know he was never a captain of anything but his own destiny but I aggress live in Texas. I got five brothers two sisters of them, Aggies or Longhorns. I seem to be the SOONER the family.
