Tim- You and Joe should definitely, start your own channel. You guys are sharp, the channel is: smart, tasteful, educational, without any loud music or silly gimmicks. Both of you are: Authentic. It got me to buy a 50' Plymouth from Joe, so- it works too! Keep it pure.

There is a store selling I'd set at least a hundred pieces of cardhardt at $10 a piece brand new. It was in a part of town that well they had some money and probably didn't wear too much of this stuff. But you never know. The indicator would be that they had racks of this stuff and I thought I've got an appointment to place a bid I'll do that and come back early Saturday morning. Well that bed took two and a half hours instead of maybe 45 minutes and when I came back all the racks are empty. I got to ask this lady if she was here what happened all the stuff she said it's all been sold. I asked her I said that's all for cheap she goes I found that out. They just fired me. The store manager assistant manager whatever she was. Felt bad for her but who would Mark Carhartt clothing down to $10. dollars? Well I wasn't any smarter because I could at least snagged a few pieces. Your comment made me think you might appreciate this story.

What an exciting auction. seems like many came home with empty wallets and full trailers with a smile. from the looks of things most things were sold and saved by the many enthusiasts there. such a great turnout. some of those cars sold for quite cheap. they would be much more expensive where im from.

I decided not to buy any vehicles since it was so bitterly cold, and so many guys drove from far away that I wanted them to have a chance to come home with something. But that first T runabout for $1000 was a deal. It was one of four that had unseized engines. Would have been a lot of fun to tinker on it and get it going again!

I enjoy your videos as they give me a chance to see the many items I grew up with and allows me to point out items to my son and explain just what they are and how we use to use them 70 plus years ago. I see many items that you would never see in any museum. I use to collect and had an antique store of my own. I wish I could find some of the places you come across. Keep up the good work.

Yes for the "After" stories. Amazed to see such a large turnout despite the freeze, all the parked vehicles backed up a mile. Gems for me were the first Allis Chalmers tractor and the rear engined Euro car at 34.18. Been years since that manufacturer stopped production, I think its a Simca or Renault..??

I believe that 1921 touring car they sold for 1700.00 had the wrong windshield on it for 1921 and it looked like it had a three piece back body panel as opposed to a 5 piece. I believe that touring car body was 1923 or newer. The number on the engine might have been for 1921 but that body appeared to be newer.

I wish I could have been down to see this hoard in person. The '21 T roadster for $2400 looked good in the video as they were loading is @ 35:00 ish. As to flipping it after paying that, not sure what extra meat is left on the bones. I would watch what you end up doing with these afterwards. But that is just me. Some channels are doing well buying and repairing & flipping them. Will wait & see what you do Mr. Goodpliers!

It was a great mutual exchange of value. The exposure here added several thousand in value to the sale prices realized. And the privilege of filming it helped launch this channel from a small hobby, to something I am pursuing the goal of a full time pursuit of. I would have liked to take a vehicle home but the spark plugs will have a permanent place on the wall to remind me of the memorable adventure this was!

I think they were okay. I have heard that the T market is a bit soft. I really wished I had bid on the T runabout. The first car always sells the cheapest. I knew a lot of people had driven a long way from out of state to come, so I wanted to make sure they all went home with something. I don't tolerate cold very well so I wasn't thrilled about being out there after the sale to load. We kind of expected the 33-34 Tudor to be a little higher since it was the only V8 model there, but that car had been put together from parts; the body had laid on its side for a while and definitely had its rough edges. People don't understand that the initial purchase is the cheapest part. The restoration after is what is costly.

It's amazing what the internet has done to the pricing on these old Fords. Years back in the 70's we had several of them and 2 real rare trucks/van. We got more money then or at a minimum similar for the common stuff. All of this was of course on the family farm and could of built several more cars with all the parts and resourced engines. Problem is you will spend 4 to 5 times whaty it is worth to rebuild these things unless super rare. A nice 21 Ford T Touring will sell for $13k so as the guy was saying it's worth $4k, well it's not worth $4k in it's current condition
