🤑 Auction Win; Salvage Title Kenworth W900 Ep. 1

Decided to hop on this wild rollercoaster ride and pursue something a little different then just mechanic work all the time. I'm in the process of finding a better happier me and it starts with making a new path in life. What better way to start my search than to buy a semi..... Well this is the first episode of my journey and its definitely going to be a wild one. Please bare with me on this ride and ANY suggestions or thoughts are greatly appreciated.

Hey just from my recent experience make sure to look at the frame horns really good I bit a Deer with my 2000 W900l directly on the passenger side frame horn the spring hanger and hood hinge bumper bracket that was cast aluminum on my truck broke in 3 pieces causing me to hit guard rail now its sitting at iaa Vancouver Washington awaiting its ride back home. Grease was holding it together. My steer axle came clear out after hitting both battery boxes and fuel tanks. No disrespect. Your rebuild is gonna be a carbon copy of mine they need the same work. My oil pan survived but bellhousing broke on mine. Good luv ill be watching

I guess beauty is truly in they eye of the beholder. That truck looks like it needs a LOT more work than it's worth, plus the premium you paid for it. I am excited to see how this journey goes and what you end up doing with it. If you got that excited about looking at beat up, wrecked, beyond repair truck, I'm excited to see what you do with it. I think ya got a pretty good deal bud, I've worked on many trucks and got my cdl at 16 I had a w9 really loved it with you doing the work yourself your definetly gonna save. I wish I was close to ya I'd give ya a hand. I always had a phrase if the hood don't tip I won't work on it, been going for 47 yrs.🇺🇸👍🇺🇸

I think you did ok could part it out and make money but believe its fixable. My great grandfathers company still in business fixed way worse damage than what you're looking at. it will be making money next yr i just know it. 36 yrs experience dealing with accidents. Its just part of the business bro. a good attitude goes a long way. God bless you all small trucking companies gotta be tough. I don't know how to explain it but i slept good under pressure. I felt good knowing id be ok no matter what. I always saved enough money to keep afloat. Youll be fine.

That's dude I appreciate that! I have full faith it's fixable. People think this is alot of work but it would be no different if it's was a wrecked 4 wheeler with the same damage. Only difference is it's 10x bigger and way heavier. Aint nothing but nuts and bolts! And it definitely won't take a year to get back together. Parts are already on the way. New video coming tomorrow showing and explaining more in detail.

@@axist1235 You calm down sweetie, I’ve been there and done that. I’m retired 37 years in a big truck. Trucking paid for my house,put my kids through college and now I’m retired. I’m not putting untrained drivers on the road,I’m not letting my 11 year old kid work on trucks without safety glasses and hard boots. I think Tim is probably a great guy but his decision making is suspect.
