Hot take. I’ve only seen a few royal oaks that I like… and those tended to be more of the smaller variety. The rest of the time is me saying silently in my head “I can’t believe someone paid this much for that thing.” This is the first time that I really heard someone get to the bottom of the code 1159 design issues. The honesty is appreciated for me. It’s a boring platform that looks cheap from the dial side,… but finally, the star wheel is really is nice and worthy of the AP name.
