Great job, Mark! Incredible dive watch. The engineering behind the Ressence Type 5 is truly mind-blowing, from the oil-filled dial that enhances underwater readability to the clever magnetic gear system. It's amazing to see a brand push the boundaries of traditional watchmaking with such innovative and beautiful designs. Definitely a masterpiece worth checking out! Javier

Best Ressence Type 5L Review I’ve seen yet. I have and love this watch. The other great thing is you can see the time from almost any angle.

Magnets, oil, temperature concerns. Sounds like a perfect recipe of how not to build a watch, and yet it works so well in such a unique and still functional piece. Learn something with every video!

I wouldn't call a 2824 a "workhorse" movement... it's also not the most common movement in the world. That would likely fall on the NH34 or one of the 8 series Miyotas, given the volume of these movements made by Seiko and Citizen.
@TheWatchSocietyАй бұрын
saying the 2824 isn't a workhorse movement is certainly a hot take, I should have clarified it is the most common Swiss movement
