I have a few mechanical AP's and bought my wife a quartz AP a few years back... She does not wear it often and so recently found that the battery had run out. No problem I thought, so took into AP in Monaco........ Sorry Sir, we cannot change the battery and we have to send it back to AP in Switzerland....... Really? How long will that take?....... About two months!!! This is crazy for a battery change, especially when this was an AP shop with a proper watch service centre... Apparently not for APs. Does AP want to make their customers feel like they are being gouged? It is the last time i will buy an AP, which is sad, as i was thinking about buying rose gold RO OS chrono. Not anymore.
