It's strange people say AP are boring because it makes too many Royal Oaks variations, whilst I do agree perhaps that things get changed/released too often and perhaps too many variations of the same model keeps happening, it is still the greatest sports watch of all time. So most brands make a circular watch and case as the body then put complications on it, surely there's nothing wrong with AP doing using the Royal Oak as the body then? They are the only ones to push the boundaries i.e. putting a tourbillon/minute repeater on it which is more complicated than any other brands do on their sports watch and they look amazing. My criticism is they should only make one color of the RO per model per time. I.e. no need for white, silver, black, blue, green RO all at once. Discontinue the green like Patek did for Nautilus to keep it rare etc. Also make a thin variant on the offshore in 41mm so people can enjoy other lines. Do only one special edition per year. Keep the 15510 and 16202 line for the long run. Plenty to be interested about for this innovative brand with materials and complications.

Great episode today! You can see how much AP has evolved just over the 20 plus years with their marketing and colabs, not just their beautiful ever evolving watchmaking. The AP Montoya and their Concept line are the ones that really turn my head. The brand is really a watch lovers watch. Roman's first watch that he sold was an AP, his favorite brand, he has come a long way since then and has become a success and a force in the market, along with AP. I loved the walk through AP's last 20 or so years and learned alot more about the brand. Again great episode and great job Marco!😊😊

Sorry Roman but Patek was the first brand that introduced highly complicated pieces to the USA...late 90's, early 2000's and they became hard to get and in demand..., not in the Nautilus case

I'm so impressed with Marco's watch knowledge. How did this Canadian kid learn so much about watches at such a young age ?

Audemars Piguet is the most boring brand. It's all royal oak designs a million different ways. You wanna pay a million dollars for a royal oak? Sure. You want to spend 25k? Sure. The offshores have horrible water depth ratings (given how thick they are) and they are fragile as hell watches.
