The BMW is the most refined by far. For the 1 series, it was giving false fuel economy readings, if my 320d gets 2.9L/100km going 90km/h, the 118d should be getting similar if not even better

At cruising speeds aerodynamics makes much more difference than weight.Your 3 series is more aerodynamic than 1 series

City consumption was measured wrong. In Audi averege speed was 35 km/h and in golf only 28 km/h. In bmw we can not even see averege speed 🤷🏼‍♂️👎👎
