If anyone is going to do this, pull out and disconnect all cables from the cd player first. Had to put my glovbox back so the wires were long enough for me to reach them.

Hello, I own a A3 8p model and my dashborad is slighty dislocated at the ends. How can I adjust it? Are there any dash 'carriers'?? On the driver side everything is tight together while on the passenger side there is about 3.5cm space in betwen the dash and the windshield pillar.. Hope you understand what I'am asking. Best regards

Hi, I don't really understand what your saying to be honest, I'd advise to disconnect the battery first and remove and reattach pillars ensuring clips are straight and lined up to be pushed in firmly... due to airbags, I would always remove the battery.. @@TimWilliamsHD The dashboard corners or end. Seems that someone before removed the dash for some reason and didn't place it right after. So on my side its tight to the 'A pillar'(windshield pillar) but on the passenger side it's not (there is a huge gap). I've managed to place it correctly without removing anything by just loosen the bolts, apllaying some force and tight the bolst strongly. Now everything is in line. It's not a problem at all, it's even unoticable but as a perfectinoist it makes me uncomfortable :)

I know its been a while since this, I followed your video and it did help me a lot, however my glovebox had an airbag connector at the bottom that I did not know how to remove and had to put everything back, I don't see you doing that part, is your car missing that airbag? mine is 2015 us version

the way to disconect the air bag on/off switch in glovebox without having problems is: 1, first disconnect the negitive on the car battery. 2) WAIT for 10 mins, remove glovebox as the above video and disconnect all three MALE connectors...light switch, air bag and glovebox light. 3) when glove box has been removed out of the car... then you can remove the FEMALE air bag keyed switchholder by pressing the clips each end and remove it from the glove box. 4) take the female keyed switch back to the car and plug it back into the airbag male cable conector you can then reconect the battery as the swich is then back in place without the glovebox! and if you wish use the car until you wish to re- fit the glove box, so make sure you disconnect the battery again before removing the on/off air bag keyed switch to reconnect everything up again. doing it this way means you dont have to re- set the airbag fault light using special equipment. Please remember if you reconnect the battery when the airbag switch is disconected e.g. male conection cable not fited into the female!!!! a computer reset of airbag light will then be required. I folowed my above method and had no problems and also found the anoing rattle that had been driving me insane Lol. redards Wyn Morgan
