Hello! Nice video but i have a question..I have the same model, but tfsi with the same interior(+ the buttons on the steering wheel)..At 06:31 of the video, at the left side of the glovebox, what's the use of that electronic addition?? I bought the car second hand and it has the same exact thing, but I can't find any info about it...What device can I connect & what's its usage?? Also, can I change-add other languages for the internal speech commands?(it has a button for open speech commands on the steering wheel among others), but I cannot get it working... Can anybody help?? Thank you in advance..

Hello, thanks for watching. That is original Audi mount/charger for old mobile phones came from factory with it. I put on magnet phone holder on it and works great with modern phones. About speech language I have A4 2011. with it and can't change language only German so I don't know really if it's possible.

@@lukastipinovic Thank you very much for your responce..I have a A3 2012 for 3 years now and I didn't know all these years whats the use of that base(left on the glovebox)...So,as for today-2024 it's just for a useless old ''extra'' device.... As for the language I will go one of these days to AUDI-Karenta here in Greece to ask and i''ll inform back... Thanks again for the response....
