Audi A4 B8.5 resonator and mid muffler delete

So, middle muffler and resonator are deleted, but muffler is in place, am I reght? And no Stage and/or popcorn settings? Just want clarify, decided to make the same sound for mine:)

You got it bro👌🏾mid muffler and resonator deleted and left the muffler on at the rear. No tune but the crackle sound only happens on a cold start. After tho high rpm shifting you get that dsg fart sound

Just stainless to replace OEM but I have a new set up I put everything back on cuz the shop i originally went to used cheap piping but now injist had the quad conversion with the resonator deleted sounds much better

Mine sounds similar, I got the middle muffler (2nd resonator) off the car and the last muffler all the way at the back deleted, I made a Y pipe into a quad exhaust, but I kept the first resonator, I’m going full custom exhaust soon, but it’s actually sounds ok right now, btw are you in Ontario ? 😂

@@Boot_14 yeah the thing is that even before buying this car I was aware that it wouldn’t sound good just because is a 4 cyl, the best sounding 4 cyl to me it’s the Subaru 2.5 turbo, and then probably a Honda K24 with the right exhaust, yeah I did notice I lost a bit of torque but it feels better at top end, the thing is that you deleted the first resonator and the 2nd resonator (2nd muffler) that’s why probably your exhaust got a bit raspy, mine with the 2nd muffler deleted and the last muffler, sounds deep without any rasp at all but it has a decent amount of drone, after watching many videos about this car what I’m going to do is put a test pipe ( deleted the catalytic converter) then 3 inch downpipe (deletes the first resonator) then a small flowmaster muffler then 2 vibrant resonators into the quad exhaust, maybe instead of getting the downpipe and deleting the first resonator I’ll put another vibrant idk, I’m still thinking about it because I want to change it between April and May, I’m in Ottawa btw 😅

@@Boot_14 yeah what I like about the car is the torque I’m stage 1 with intake and the exhaust for now and it’s quick but it still lacks power at top end like on the highway, but it’s for sure way better than before, the thing is that mine has the ZF 6 speed auto and yours has the ZF 8 speed right ? I wish I had the 8 speed, I’m going FBO stage 2 + next month, I think it should be in the 300hp-320hp range and 360-370tq range, I think that’s all I can do with the stock turbo, I’m still thinking if it’s worth going K04, are you in Toronto ? I might go around May or June so we can compare the cars haha

@@Boot_14 yeah stage 1 it’s totally worth it, I got the IE stage 1, the car is a rocket from 0 to 120km/h after that the power starts to die kinda quick because of the weight of the car and the lack of horse power but yeah and since you have the 8 speed it will be quicker than my car

So that video I got it done by a place that used some cheap piping and that was mid muffler and res delete I still had the muffler at the rear and it wasnt that great so got it re done with the dual quad conversion and just the res delete and I left the mid muffler on and it's pretty good doesn't sound bad and it does I guess around 140kmh but if you drive it in tip and you drive in like 7th when it's usually at 8 so it would just be chilling right above 2 n half 2rpm theres no noise what so ever goes like electric mode lol

Definitely will check it out👊🏾how do you like the sound on your car yay or nay? But also you got more power so may sound a bit better too, I feel like I lost low end torque when I had it deleted

Is that cold start idle?? Loud as I actually had this set up previously, before upgrading to the AWE touring quad tip both sides. I actually preferred the old sound of the OEM exhaust with both resonator deleted, the AWE was too quiet and I ended up removing the mid resonator for that exhaust, which is still quieter than the OEM + no Res. So the upgrade ended up only better for looks
