Audi A4 B9 Matrix LED Demonstration [4k] - Foggy morning.

I hope this video is helpful for everyone who is thinking about getting a new Audi and is not sure wether to order Matrix LED or not.
Personally I love it. Ask me please if you want other conditions (e.g. on Autobahn) or anything else.

Haha, I think you can manually overdrive! Like you can with the regular highbeam assist

@@georgealex19you can, but it initially turns off prior allowing you to flash, which means you have to fight against it a little

this is the best real life video showing the led matrix headlights, mainly because your driving through fog which really make the technology clear.

is just me, or high beam in foggy weather is never a good idea?

These lights more dazzle you rather then help. You can try to drive in the fog with high beams, same effect, you see glare not the road. Use low beams and fog lights because they are located lower.

When those high beams are partially disabled for oncoming traffic, how do you manually activate it fully? Just pull the lever towards you?

When the system is activated in automatic mode, just push the lever away from you, so you will get manual high beam. To disable the automatic high beam, pull the lever towards you, when the system is active:)!

@@oijhhytdirhrbru Yes that is right - So usually in a heavy fog situation I turn off my High Beam, because it flashes bac some kind of. But it was as you mentioned, a nice weather to demonstrate the effects of the single beams;)

to activate the matrix does the high beams have to be set to auto or are they always on ?

You have to set the light switch to automatic fist. Then you have to push back the light lever once so you see an "automatic" symbol in the virtual cockpit. Does this help you ?:)

because he probably did. just because the light beams you can visibly see arent on the cars doesnt mean its not bright. the beams are still going too high and are very bright even not head on

@@flute136it is only because it’s through the fog, which disperses the high power light too much blinding everyone, including the driver himself. In normal conditions it doesn’t blind anyone.

In the fog you can perfectly see how they actually work. I think that’s the only reason to keep them on.
