Really liking your stuff with the E85 stage 2+ RS3 and your VR6T project....Right up my alley with current interests. What are your thoughts of using a VR6T in the mk3 TT? Are they both port and direct injection or does this limit the motor's appeal versus the newer light 2.5T RS3/TTRS 400hp engine as a tuning platform? What would the main advantages/disadvantages be of a VR6T build in a mk3 TT versus just going TTRS with stg 2/3? I am really after essentially full boost by 2000rpm and 500-570hp. I would how much the spool speed and response has changed going decat and e85 with the more fuel going through at lower rpms. My current car is mk2 TTS and looking at what the options are as more frustrating thing for me about car is the amount of hesitation and sluggishness for first 3 meters off the line and 0.8 second or so of putting the foot down. I do not know how much of that will be eliminated by going decat, e85 and going the smallest borg warner twin scroll 6258 turbo... or if the real answer to such slop is the TT clubspot turbo concept with its 48v electrical system spinning up an e-turbo/supercharger from off idle rpms.

Phil Sos both VR6 and 5cyl are amazing motors, really it’s up to you and your preference, we love both motors however in our B5s the VR6 is king, in our RS3 the 5cyl is king. I say do whatever makes you happy and something that makes sense.
