Audi A5 B8.5 STAGE 1 || Long Term Review

This is my 2013 Audi A5 that I have had for 3 years. It is tuned by IE engineering
The mods and large fixes that I have done to date:
- Stage 1 tune
- 17 mm spacer rear
- 15 mm spacers front
- 255/35/R19 Firestone Firehawk Tires
- Brembo front brake pads
- RS5 Style front grille
- 30% tint windshield
- 15% tint side windows
- 5% tint rear windows
- Valved exhaust at muffler with resonator delete

there is a chip in the manual of the car, you put it inside the spare key fob, and becomes a functional key

Hey, I figured that it is a key for the airbag. It might also work to manually unlock the car lock🤷🏽‍♂️ haven’t tried it. “Also it looks like you only have the key shield tho“ 👍🏽

Look up the video "Your Audi's HIDDEN SECRET KEY/ Audi tips and secrets BTW "Gat Zilla... It'll explain the hidden key fob. And, you should keep it out of the car just in case you lose the key or car.

Hi there, I have an Audi 5 2.0T 2012 so I have a small concern about my gearbox which is an automatic .when putting in drive or reverse and releasing the break without accelerating ,it kind of rushing. I think normally it should be smooth and slow but it jump quickly to 8 km/h and the engine revs down when the clutch is pushed but beside that the gearbox shift very well .is it the same on your car too?

That sounds weird. what do you mean by "the engine revs down when the clutch is pushed" if you have an automatic

@@touchtheclutch Yeah ,I sent the car to Audi and they said that the clutches and the megateonics need to be replaced ,that’s going to cost me at least 7000$ for them to do the full repair. DAMN!

The key in your glove box is a valeters key so u can drop off the car and give them the key it unlock the doors

Would you recommend the 2.0 or the 3.0 TDI engine for A5?

In North America 2.0 in Europe 3.0 TDI, not enough good diesel mechanics for the 3.0 in canada

No, its not a CVT, its an 8 speed auto. Which is decent, wish it was a DSG but its not all that bad@@molin7493

I abused that engine and it lasted 2 years. I think its reasonable for a non performance engine on a shitty stage 1 tune from ECS. If you drive hard you need to expect that

Yes, I would get the s5, the v6 with manual is a great car. I had this bodystyle for 3 years so kinda bored of it now

That is a spare key that was in the glove box.

It's a plastic cover the same size as the key it's not a spare key

It’s a spare key, it supposed to have the chip inside but looks like it is missing, I have a4 b8.5 and it’s missing the chip also

Had this car for 3 years, didnt have any issues. Just a full engine rebuild. But honestly the car is very solid considering the amount of abuse it got
