Yes. You need to connect scan tool & VCI via USB for smooth data transfer during the process.

hi, can you please tell me if launch x431 pro3s+ works with x prog3 to be able to read write (backup/restore) the ecu/tcu? because as a function immo prog x431 pro3s+ is hidden inside the system but I wanted to be sure that they are compatible, because I have seen some videos that make the connection via USB to do the backup restore Tcu.

I am using x431 pro link 3 there is no software update for Mercedes VGs.

LAUNCH DOES NOT HONOUR IT'S WARRANTY. THERE SOFTWARE UPDATES LOG FAULTS INTO THE ECM THAT NEVER PREVIOUSLY EXISTED

هیچ وقت با لانچ محصولات vw را پروگرام انلاین نکنید.من هر بار اینکار را کردم یک ecu جدید خریدم.چون در هنگام پروگرام قطع میشود و ecuدیگر قابل استفاده نیست.یعنی شما باید درامد ماهانه خود را تقدیم شرکت vw کنید.بعد از ارسال فیدبک کمپانی لانچ هیچ جوابی نمیدهد.یعنی کارایی ان هیچ فرقی با یک تینک دیاگ صد یورویی ندارد.
