Seems like many people think that way. Maybe that's why there's like at least 10x more diesels when you're looking for a 3L A6. Somehow I cannot really drive a diesel they way I'd drive a petrol. Diesels always discouraged me to push them hard. Not sure if it's because of the noise or just the low rev gear changes, but I never had a diesel that I'd push withouts regrets. However, I'd always pick a diesel for some long distance high speed travelling, because of the contant feedback/vibrations those engines give and take petrol for city cruising.

It can be because stage 1 at this car brings the original 290ps to 405ps.
