Audi AC / Air Conditioning Inoperable no signal from pressure sensor switch, FIXED!!! wire corroded.

Hi Everyone -
I had a hard time finding this information. There is a Audi TSB about AC inoperable that explains the pressure sensor for the AC data cable can be pinched or cut in a couple spots. One was under the driver's side headlight. Sure enough, the wire was corroded (blue / brown). It is PIN 2 on the AC pressure sensor cable. And goes to PIN 1 on the wiring harness. I opened up the heat wrap, found the corroded wire, spliced in some new speaker wire, and closed everything back up. After charging the AC, it was ice cold!

My car was a 2005 Audi A6, but I believe this should be similar on many of those C6 models.

Good job man im gettin a signal but even with new switch its not turning on i have a b8 s4?

@twosorzeros20 it ended up being a bad new sensor bought the cheapest Amazon sensor and it worked lol.
