Little bit of weight reduction, but yes, FBO, stage 2 E85, and I'd say removal of spare, back seat and passenger seat will be high 10s.

No B9 or B9.5 platform is running 10s with 2 bolt ons and a tune on pump gas. 034 Motorsport was the first to have the car in the 10s and it was Stage 2, FBO, E85 and 220 pounds of weight reduction. B9 platform is not capable of running 10s with stock turbo and FBO without weight reduction. If he had a Hybrid turbo I'd be slightly more likely to bite that.

Idk if you just had a tune or a intercooler. Intercooler is a MUST on the b9, literally you are getting heak soak by the top of 3rd gear from a launch its insane. The power comes on so much different with a big juicy FMIC and intake.

I state multiple times in the video that I had no bolt on parts installed. I am very aware that my IAT's SUCK, lol. I logged all of my runs and could see a ton of timing being pulled because my IAT's were too high.

Excellent video! As far as I know you kind of want the transmission to shift hard because a smooth shift usually means more heat in the transmission.

Doesn't have anything to due with more heat. You don't want a drop in acceleration on gear changes so the ZF8 automatic drives through the shifts.

Man, I need to get to a better location and try times again. On 034 stage 2 ECU and stage 1 TCU (034 doesn't have stage 2 tcu for the 9.5 platform yet) with intake, turbo inlet, intercooler, catless downpipe, and awe track exhaust im only managing a 4.1 0-60 (3.9 with 1') at 78 degrees, 2000 feet elevation and a DA of 4000-4500.

hey man love your videos, i have the same car, even the color lol im going for the stage 1 tune from IE thanks for the review. I wonder why you havent change the intercooler yet? most of what i have read from other S4 and S5 owners is that the stock intercooler is a must to be upgraded, i have read very good comments from users that have made the change as well, try it out! IE also have the upgrade :) cheers!

Thanks for watching! I haven't upgraded my intercooler yet because I try and upgrade one piece of hardware or one type of software at a time. That way I am able to see how much of a difference they actually make. The intercooler upgrade is coming to the channel soon!

@@VancityAudi I know the Unitronic TCU tune for my RS3 has a more aggressive track launch file too, but I've never tried it. Figured it was too much for Michelin PS4S tires on the street

@@scottc78 on the track your car should be able to handle the 3800rpm launch with a lower boost psi. On the street you'd want to use the 3500rpm launch.

Hey man quick question, with the stage 1 93 octane tune how would you say reliability is? Considering 100 horsepower more and +100 torque. The car in question is a 23 S4 daily driven and just wanna be sure it’ll last a while.

Weird that your shifts are so noticeable. '18 S5 here and it's almost powerglide smooth. The TCU does learn a little though so that jerking could get worked out. Doesn't seem to be slowing you down.

How much boost will it let you build in Street launch mode? I couldn't get past about 20-25 percent and it wouldn't let me rev past about 3k. Stage 1 93 octane ecu stage 2 street launch. Thanks bud. Only managed a 4.0 , 0-60with 93. All stock hardware no weight reduction.

I never logged the Street launch to see. It is much too low in my opinion though. With a decent set of tires you need to use the Aggressive launch at the lowest. I prefer to use the Race launch and then not build all the boost you can for the most effective launch

MASSIVE difference. First off it isn't a DSG. It's a ZF8 Auto. Secondly, no manual car will ever be shifted as fast as an auto can shift so your ET will be MUCH slower than the Auto.

First off, did you buy a TCU as well? If so, you'd see that option when tuning your transmission and not your engine. If you don't see it, I'd reach out to IE.

@MCHONG well I've seen the logs of a local IE Stage 2 93 B9 S4 running straight Shell 93. It works. It just has quite a bit of timing reduction, but it's nothing unsafe.

@@VancityAudi Hi Adam, 39,000km on my B9 S5 (IE stage 1) and there is coolant residue around my waterpump and the pressure of the coolant system is not up to Audi Spec (8lbs psi low) . Turns out I need a new waterpump? Does this seem a little early? Should I go OEM or aftermarket?

That's the way it has been tuned. From what I understand it is because the turbos are tiny on these cars and they die up top, so short shifting results in quicker times.

Yes the short-shifting is part of the TCU Tune (optimized shift points feature). It basically optimizes the power output to allow for continuous torque & what @Vancity Audi said as well.
