Cheap enough ? The german Trio SUVs are too expensive for what they are to me... The Q3 looks solid, enoughly practical and nice to drive BUT the price :O Just because it's "fashionable" ?

The 40 tfsi feels miles better/ faster with the extra 50 hp. This one feels a bit to slow to be able to be flexible in traffic.

Johan De Haes Hi Johan, I hear a lot of mixed reciews in this engine, lot of ppl complain about its responsiveness whilst others think its the best match saying the tdi is a bit of a lump. I cannot decide between the two.

@@TerbrugZondolop I've just taken delivery of my Audi Q3 35 TFSI & I'm very pleased with it. The Engine sounds very refined unless you floor the throttle (but that's probably the case with any Engine choice). It feels very responsive to me. I'm a fairly gentle Driver & this Engine suits me perfectly. Diesel is out of favour here in the UK so the Petrol 35 TFSI is the most economical one to go for & has the benefit of cylinder deactivation so is very eco friendly.

Andrew Lindsay Hi Andrew, thanks for the input, much appreciated. I am not a 0-60 kinda guy to be honest. I am just worried at your classic mid gear, or driving along, having to overtake prospect. I used to drive hot hatches I certainly don’t expect for this to rocket. I am puzzled to the online inconsistency regarding its flexibility.

a few reviewers commented on the sometimes "slow" reaction of the s-tronic, for example from standstill if you floor the gas pedal it takes a second or 2 to actually get going.. did you experience this as well?

It's been already a while since i've driven it, but i don't remember it being laggy. Certainly not seconds of lag.

I’ve done a test drive be cause I am seriously considering it, and yes, the gas pedal felt a tad laggy... not that I need a sports car like response though, but still. Otherwise fantastic car. The driving position feels much more comfy than in the X1 and overall design looks more modern.

All Audis seems to have poor interior sound isolation, always so much engine noise in cabin, they shurrely need improvement in that area. just a tought from an Audi driver.
