Audi Q5 Parking Aid Warning Chime Buzzer H15 01543

Here is a vdeio outlining the location of the parking Aid Warning Chime (H15)
This is located in the rear boot of the vehicle on the drivers side pillar behind the trim panel and is held on by 2 TORX bolts.
If you have similar symptoms as in the video or have the 01543 fault code this is more than likely going to be the issue.

Small piece of plastic could be placed anywhere with 5 seconds access but on Audis you have to disassemble half of the car! Great job german engineers! Having some spare time fun project with Audi A6 C6 atm and the same story with every single thing on this car. A half or even a full day of disassembling and replace the part in 5 minutes and just assemble everything back 😂😅🥲

Hey great video. I just have a question. When you press the parking aid system light button and the chime are you supposed to hear a front and rear? Because I only hear a rear one and same as your MMI nothing shows up. Thank you

Hello, Looking at diagrams it seems like it is near the passenger footwell behind the glovebox close to the PDC module. Shows as within a bracket of some sort.

@@MidlandsVehicleDiagnostics Hey, hello there, sooo after hours of searching, googling and taking of trims of my cars ( carefully) I found it, it's on the right side trim, C pillar, right above where the seatbelt folds, if you go on the trunck, put your hand on the seat belt, the back of your hand will be pointing to the H15 BUZZER. On the LEON 5F 2014 There are 2 buzzers, front and back. The front is where you told me, thank you again for the fast reply.

What about if the module is faulty . How error and msg would I get . Cause on my Vw touran when I put on revers beep sound comes for few secs and no graphic on radio and P button flashing .

At 3.28 the beige panel where the speaker/buzzer is I think that’s what’s gone on my q5
