Audi Q7 4L window regulator and window replacement

This video documents how I replaced the window regulator on my Audi Q7 4L. The cables snapped on my old regulator which then meant that I needed to replace it. I am not a mechanic and take no responsibility for any damage or injury caused by anyone attempting this procedure. This video purely documents how I carried out the repair on my vehicle. Thank you for the video mate. I m going to replace a broken windows at the same side and it was really helpful. One idea: I think you could use the mechanism itself to help seat down, pushing the glass to the top of the window. Just an idea. I will post the video on my channel as well. My widow pulls to the left after regulator has been replaced and won't close properly!! Any ideas??

Actually I just replaced mine again last week (this replacement failed after about 2 years). This time I used a different brand of part and it doesn't fit perfectly and my window pulls slightly now too (I can hear the wind more now). I pulled the glass up out of the front clip on the regulator so it sits up slightly higher than the back and now it closes much better. I should probably bring the part back as its not a great fit but I can't be bothered haha!!
