I love it the front end. Maybe you need to see it in real life? The R8 5.2 engine is very similar to the one found in the Lamborghini Gallardo. As the V10 in the Gallardo was developed by Audi.

Believe the R8 does this automatically. Lot of supercars have this to smoothen the downshift. Racing drivers do it manually heel-toe downshifting.

Don't get me wrong, I love the 6 Speed Manual especially in the R8 since its a gated shifter. When I had my V8 R8, I had 6 speed so when I changed to the V10, I decided to switch it up. This is the exact same transmission in the LP560 Gallardo

Lamborghini, as we all know, is owned by Audi, so the R8 is built on the Gallardos platform, it even shares the Engine with the V10-version. it is basically the same car, just different bodies, different branding and a bit different software ;)
