Audi RS e-tron GT Range Test

Whilst the name might be a bit of a mouthful, this is a serious car!
e-tron meaning it's fully electric, GT being the body shape, and RS being the hardcore version of that... it's a near 600bhp electric monster!
Outrageous performance, outstanding comfort and refinement but can it deal with the electric cars nemesis?... Motorways!

Really is an incredible car, the outside we've all seen before but I was taken back a little by the interior, it was far nicer than I had expected! The quality, design, fit and finish should have other EV makers (not mentioning any names) pretty worried!

Might as well have a gas car, the charging fee, isn't exactly cheap. And that's on top of the high cost of the car.

I agree the 'on the road' charging isn't cheap but if you can charge at home then it is very cheap.

Yearly services are needed on ICE cars...but its fair enough if you dont want one yet. EV's are still very much in their infancy, they will evolve enormously fast.

@@premiersports_uk agreed. my point is, they gotta upgrade cars constantly like Tesla does just like phones. cars are not machines anymore . it's an electronics. They either gotta cut the price every year or upgrade its performance(distance etc) at least to get paid the same price

@@rreinhardt2393 true, EVs still long way to go to be a reasonable alternative for big amount of people. You bring in a vast amount of problems that you simply dont have with ICE, and when it comes to vice versa I'm not sure EVs offer that many benefits over ICE for personal use if we scramble the emissions/cleanliness stuff.
