Surely earlier longer braking will overheat the pads and disks? Later sharper and shorter braking is better for both, reduces fade, plus improves laptimes

Took my C63 estate to Goodwood a couple of months back - I was giggling like a schoolgirl. Surprised a few people on track. It’s really not that compromised, apart from when it comes to the cost of news pads and disks 😅

Not bad for a barge, looks like your lap times were about 1m42. I love Goodwood in my 8j ttrs roadster manual (372hp stage 1) and am doing around 1m33 (later breaking)

Mark you need a few laps in a B7 RS4 which has had some nice little mods instead of the B8 + Autos. If you’re about in the summer il give you some passenger rides in mine. BC coilovers, poly bushes, bigger rear anti toll bar, bigger Discs, hawk pads and semi slicks.

@@Lew-tronic ive ran HPS and HPS 5.0 and both were good on the street and track, ive have used EBC yellows and i am on reds at the moment but they havent been as good. Carbon tech is on the list after i try EBC Blues to compare but i dont want a too aggressive pad which will kill the rotors, id rather eat through pads than replace discs all the time.

Also just a comment on the wavy brake discs, they are not the best the older B7 factory brake discs are a better cheaper option
