Wow, You sound just like me ! Bought one, in the ONLY colour to have, in 2018. Brace yourself if you get an oil leak. Engine out to fix, mostly. Thats £3500 in labour. Spent £10,000 on mine last year…… OCT 24 update. Just spent another £7.3k on suspension, oil pump rebuild, seized brake ripples, gearbox oil change. And it's still not going anywhere soon. Advantage of a cheap ex wife and no kids, ha ha.

@@thestigseasterncousin Depends how you drive, but generally easy city drive with few pulls from 9 to 13mpg, This summer I did 1900mile trip and averaged around 24mpg sometimes going well over 120 mph with peak at 175mph.

The station wagon/estate car that Audi USA refuses to sell. Mercedes-Benz and Mercedes-AMG will happily sell Americans the E 400 4MATIC AND the E 63 S 4MATIC+ to anyone around the world including the USA 🇺🇸. God bless you Daimler-Benz for continuing to offer the E-Class in a station wagon form for us wealthy Americans and the rest of the world. This is why I will always view Daimler-Benz vehicles above the other automakers from Germany 🇩🇪. Unfortunately GM tried and didn’t succeed with the Cadillac CTS Sport Wagon even though they had a supercharged 556 horsepower V-8 engine under the hood/bonnet of the Cadillac CTS-V Sport Wagon.
