I only testdrove my pal‘s E43 AMG just recently and he told me to go 250 km/h (on another note I‘d never insist on having others go full speed with my own personal car lol) and I got really nervous. To be fair there wasn‘t a lot of traffic and I didn‘t feel overwhelmed otherwise I would not have gone that fast but I felt if anything goes wrong you do NOT have enough time to react... Because if you hit a bump, something goes out in front of you, you get a flat, etc etc you will have more control over the car to react to it. That being said if you're going at 325km/h and any of that happens you're dead anyway.

Kin Ho He is shifting in manual mode, pushing the lever once forward is up shift and pushing it down is down shift. As I drive a car with the same kind of transmission and paddle shifter on the steering wheel as well I can tell you that it is sometimes more convenient than using the paddles.

Kin Ho rewatched the whole video, I think you are right. sometimes his hand movement fits the downshift but if he accelerates it doesn't. He's just used to manual and his right hand has nothing to do ^^ I'm playing with my handbrake knob in my car after a while driving manual, but not that excessive.

Kompletter Vollhorst der sich bestimmt in seiner Garage auf den Automatik Knauf setzt um sich zu befriedigen. Bei 200km/h plus gehören einfach beide Hände an den Lenker. Schalten kann er anscheinend auch nicht weil er seine Kupplung binnen der ersten Woche durchgebrannt hätte. Dann noch der lebensgefährliche Start bei dem er AUF DEM BESCHLEUNIGUNGSSTREIFEN STEHEN BLEIBT. der Typ ist Grenzbehindert

@Unintended Consequences its not about the quality of the car, audis are awesome, its about the total control, what i mean is, something could splash on your windshield, someone could pop up right in your lane while you were speeding, there are numerous of reasons something could turn out to be bad, with one hand on the steering wheel, chances are not in your favor, you could even make situations worse, im not hating on the guy or start cursing him to death, but what he did was irresponisble and overall stupid, you could do that in a airstrip, where the road is 6x wider and no traffic or objects to hit if you lose control, not in a highway

It may cause damage on manual cars as the stick is connected to the shifter forks and resting you hand on it may cause them to rubb on points they arent supposed to rubb on. As automatic gearboxes are set up differendly i would assume it doesnt hurt anything.
