At Alpine Volks Fair in Helen GA this year, we came across Serg and his crazy Scirocoo Build! 8 years ago he decided it'd be a great idea to put a 2.7T Audi S4 Engine into his MK2 Scirocco, and It also retains quattro! After all these years his car still runs and drives great!

First time I saw this car locally I expected it to make all kinds of fun noises when it started up to leave, it was surprisingly quiet because I never heard it leave. Super awesome clean build

Dude, I still have my ‘86 Flashsilver ‘Rocco, 8v. Original owner. Did 16v body kit and rear discs. Been wanting to do an engine swap, but with 350k miles, it’s just too reliable. Your build is amazing!

It's a "Franken Scirocco"... Nice build. Clearly wasn't easy and certainly not refined like some of the other VW builds out there, but it's pretty damn sweet! Quattro in an early Scirocco. That in itself would be worth all that work. My only concern with it is that it seems so "Rube Goldberg'd" that safety is suspect, but what the hell... You only live once, so why not have some fun.

Why to people say that the AGB engine is unreliable? I ran a stock engine with near 500hp for years with no issues apart from the drivetrain, and they don’t have a history of being unreliable so I’m not sure where that came from?

Wow amazing work! I stick to known combos myself. I dont have your engineering skills. Id say 4.2 v8s are way less reliable. Its funny though. B5 guys do vr6 swaps. And u do a 2.7t, lol. My girls had a 01 b5 for 12 yrs maintained by me. In valentines day last yr a Ahole ran his stop sign and totaled it, RIP. She was fine thank god. It had 228k original clutch and turbos. She doesnt have as much fun as me. But i was getting ready for a clutch / turbo upgrade. Saved me 25k i guess. 2.7ts are actually very strong long lasting motors. People do big turbo upgrades past 200k miles. I still have my 01 b5 a4. Now a stroker. On jack stands. . The audi life i got the same 4:1 mod on my B5 A4, hope that helps me too I saw a b5 with 4.0tt conversation. Lots of smart people out there. With smarts, MONEY, and time. Nearly any thing us possible. Like stuffing a tank engine... or was it air plane? In a crown vic. Google it. Nice job owner👍 if u know of any, talk yo me about remote tuners for awm 7.5me. My 01 a4. Thanks

Hey KZbin family, I have a 2010 Tiguan Wolfsburg edition. Just swaped the engine with another 2.0 4 cylinder TSI. Changed the plugs and coils. Runs smooth at idle and driving city. When I get on the highway, it starts to misfire around 55-65 mph. Should I change MAF SENSOR ? Or should I just replace the entire intake plus MAF SENSOR ? Please I need assistance anyone who knows VW

Yeah, nobody did that because is THE WORST platform which anybody could choose for that swap, making an ALREADY very understeering platform to even understeer MUCH MORE, having no rear (at all) and HUGE WEIGHT in the front of the front axle ..
