Audi S5 V8 Review

This is my first review on and first video on KZbin so nowhere near perfect however better reviews and content is what I intend to bring. Please let me know what you think of the S5 V8 and would you own one ?

Nice!! You got a gem with low miles. Previous owner if brought used really took care of it. Probably a weekend/trip car. I just picked up a 2016 Audi A5 S-Line and it’s amazing all around!

i've got one. bought with 190.000km used as daily driver and take it to the twisties on te weekends. now at 220.000 only issues so far: broken power steering hose €345,00 and a faulty fuel pump control module €215,00. but many euros spent on gas €€ :)

Nice to see it’s still going strong perfect example of bulletproof engine. Yes it thirsty but it’s worth it 😂

Have one too mine has Manual gearbox and Pushing the Gears with This v8 is really Like a muscle car just with a lot of traction

Beautiful car,glorious engine noise.i have the 2009 model,but a 3.0tdi.been toying with an idea to swap or prix it for a petrol as i only do very little miles.ive done over 4000 miles in a year.i would love a v8 with a manual gearbox though.wonder what the fuel consumption is per miles,sensible vs spirited driving.great video mate wish you smiles per mpg,happy and safe trouble free motoring

It truly is a pleasure to own and drive and the V8 is properly the most reliable one up against other V8s. On the motorway with a light foot I can get 34mpg with decent speed I can get 29mpg obviously when you put your foot down you will get around 14 maybe lower which is to be expected. Compared to other V8 this one is the best all rounder don’t get me wrong 6.2 AMG is a beast hands down but not the best all round. You can have fun with the torque with a TDI but the sound will and fell will be better in a petrol version. Go with whatever you crave and enjoy!

@@driverant thank you for the great detailed reply mate,give me a piece of mind on whether i want to go down the v8 route or not.i have built my car to a stage 2 340bhp,782nm torque.its a manual as well.extremely low miles to age as it’s only done 80k.but the v8 noise is something i dont think anyine would ever get bored of.big up 👍🏻

a many problems car, but a legend car, tales will be told about this car in the future when we all get carbon deleted. great car, love it very much.

@@jayleon89 I do agree had it for 2 years and faultless just need to keep up on maintenance as you should. It’s just a big lump of V8 no turbos no headache
