I do agree all the comments made in the video. I’ve had two of these S8 (2006, 2008) and it still is one of my favourite car. Indeed, buying one nowadays you can get a lot of car for your money, such heavily they have been depreciated in value over the years. However, although very reliable car, should something go wrong/break down, it tends to be pretty expensive to sort out (particularly OEM parts are hideously priced). Although V10 is not making comparable growling noise as S63, it is very addictive. Using S8 in daily commuting city/town environment is totally pointless as fuel economy is appalling. The car is at its best in long distance travelling on highways.

I Bought My 2008 Audi S8 3 yrs Ago W/70,000 mi. & Now 75,234! Gas Consumption Haven"t Been A Problem Because I Work From Home & My Coaching 11 yrs Old In Baseball I Travel Less Than 5 mi.! I have two of this S8, 2006 and 2007, one full option with B&O solar powered sunroof ceramic brakes, one with least options even no sunroof. With after market titanium exhaust, the car sounds great and engine is pretty reliable. I love naturally aspirated engines, they give you instant response and smooth torque curve all round

How reliable is to buy a 10 year used luxury car. I understand in this case is an audi also being a VW and Vw vehicles are quite reliable, i have a jetta 2015 and had no problems.

Tough call, I've seen enough of these V10 Audi's listed having between 100-200kkm and the seller already stated they had a new engine. Doesn't promise much in terms of reliability.
