@Marko Beast And so they put an extremely heavy V8 Diesel in the SQ8 before ? Riiiight. They didn't do it for two reasons: 1. emissions and new regulatory shit which would mean they had to rework the V8 TFSI they had before and therefor delay it 2. it would probably cannibalize a lot of customers away from any RS Model as the engine has a lot to offer already and could easily be chipped to those 600hp i bet while still being more comfy than an all out RS car. 3. In Europe there are a lot of fleet customers which prefer diesels and so they took the opportunity to sell you less for more.

AMG has admitted defeat and their 4.0 TT V8 has lost all its tone and soul. Bravo Audi! Hope regulations don’t quash it too soon...

Hi does the lap timer automatically start counting soon as your drive or do you need to press the button because I found where the lap timer is but I couldn’t see where I can test it’s 0-100 otherwise I’m just setting my lap timer for no reason

Oh man was eine schöne wohlklingende geile Soundmaschine. Ich bin leider ein S6 fan, hatte den V8 gehabt. Nicht zu viel aber genau richtig gewesen. Der Diesel hat mich zu BMW getrieben. Dieser Motor wäre einfach nur geil gewesen im S6 😭.

Puh....so 12 Liter Super sind sicher gut zu erreichen, das ist gemessen an dem Gewicht ganz gut. Man muss bedenken das auch nen CUPRA Ateca auf Grund der Bauform schnell über 10 Liter Durchschnittsverbrauch hat😉

question from SQ7 2021 owner - how do you trigger launch control? Just keeping your left foot on a brake just makes it start trying to turn wheels as you add gas... it just jerks off "through" the brakes. Let alone no indication in instrument cluster that launch control even exists...

Turn off the drive lane assist which comes on automatically every time the car turns on. I have the SQ8 tfsi 2021 which is the same engine as yours.

The RS6 is nothing compared to this monster. Yes the RS6 has little! more power, not much more. But the comfort and SPACE that you get in the SQ8 is never comparable to the RS6. Also the height and the presence of the car on the street is a totally different level. Its no contest really.

I love the sound of VW Group's corporate 4.0L V8 that's in the Lamborghini Urus, the Audi SQ8/RS Q8, the Audi RS6, the Audi RS7, the Porsche Cayenne Turbo GT, and in the Bentley Bentayga. I think the Audi version sounds really good without the fake noise the Lamborghini one makes. And Audi claims 4.3 seconds 0-100 km/h, but you got 4 seconds, and I think Car and Driver got 3.6 seconds, which is NUTSSSSS. Germans are always conservative with their numbers, so that doesn't surprise me. I expected this car to be around the 3.9-4 second range if Audi claims 4.3 seconds.

I strongly suggest to measure 100-200 km/h acceleration from exactly 100km/h speed. It will also let you to check/ to measure a throttle lag

You will get the best time when starting under 100. Thats a common practice. (Boost pressure, throttle lag…)
