You need two people. The manual tells you to shut the door and loosen the two window clamp bolts. The person on the outside uses two suction cups to push the window into position. You then tighten the bolts. You can fine tune using a hex key in the sliders (pull towards you to go up and push away to go down). The window tilt can be adjusted at the bottom by slackening the two bolts and using a torx socket to adjust in and out.

Best fix on you tube.. i will add that i used tape on front quarter and back shut line and marked where i wanted the window to be. ie 5 to 10mm up, not where it was, then i found it easier to loosen the 2 screws where u said then pull window up a bit a a time with door open. same principle different order.. worked really well. no more wind noise. thanks mate👍

There is a adjustment that you turn clockwise & counter clockwise to raise and lower the glass using an allen key located near the cable lock tab. It looks like a long socket facing down.

Oh nice! Where do you mean? For the heat / sound insulation did you remove all panels and add extra materials on the metal and then replace the trim panels ?

Perhaps a dumb question however, how do you open the door again once you closed it and took of the door trim😅 Can you just pull on the green wire/mechanism to open it or do you need to open it from outside?
@ianpgonzaga6 ай бұрын
Pretty good question actually. Yes your are right. You just pull on the cable to open the door manually.
@alwayslate46566 ай бұрын
@ianpgonzaga Actually, another question if you do not mind. Can the clamps be hand twisted or do they need to be tight to spec?
@ianpgonzaga6 ай бұрын
@@alwayslate4656 the clamps? As in the clamps holding the glass? You need to undo and tighten with a tool. Being hand tight will definitely end up with a loose glass smashing down into the doorframe.

Hello Ian. I have somewhat the same issue with my driver side window. Actually when washing the car I can see water going in through the rubber seal. My gap is somewhat more in the middle. I notice that you did not went with the adjuster hole in the bottom of the door, I already took a look and didn't manage to find any place to put a 5mm allen key. After you disassemble did you find the famous adjuster? I'm thinkin in doing the same thing you did there.
@ianpgonzaga3 жыл бұрын
I could never find this adjusting point. I think you must have window all the way down to get to it but like I say in my video. I could not find it 😂🤣 Good luck!
@darkjak43 жыл бұрын
@@ianpgonzaga Ok, think I found out the problem of no finding the adjuster screws. Guess my drivers door regulator probably ain't the original one. I took a look at my passenger side and when the window its fully down with a flash light you can clearly see the 5mm Allen head screw for the adjustment. So guess I'll have to go with the "hard" way of removing the card door papel.
