Hi there I’ve just had same dash cam front only as you can’t fit rear to the new tt model can you answer me a question can you access you dash cam when not in car. As I can only look what’s on the cam when sitting in the car if I try when in the house it won’t let me any ideas

Can this dash cam record voice inside the car? Also does the mic need to be turned on for it to record? Or does it record regardless? How do you restart it to delete all the recordings?

There's no way for the camera to send live video somewhere else.

Hi mate, just had the Audi utr fitted to my A6 by Lincoln Audi, they did a great job as usual. Like you I fitted the 128 sd card, but the app keeps asking for the firmware update, which I have not carried out, have you updated yours and if you did is it still working ok? It was thanks to your video that I decided to get it installed, so thanks for that.

hi has any one had the car battery go flat after a couple of weeks not using car after fitting these dash cams? Today found out the cameras are on all the time ie parking mode draining the car battery this was after main dealer had fitted new battery to my car prior to me buying car. So now whilst car is garage I will take off camera so not to flatten car battery.

that was great man, why as soon as i leave the car its shows i need to connect to WiFi? dose it mean i didn't do it properly ? I'm a bit confused? any suggestion ?

Babak Mozneb it’s because it turns off the WiFi on the UTR so you would need to turn the car on so you can connect to it, it’s to save the battery so the WiFi is not on all the time it’s only to record if something happened when the car is off

R4hmans another thing: Am I doing the setups wrong? When you said connect to ur home Wi-fi and change password, is it mean to enter home Wi-fi passwords or just create new one ? Sorry bro I’m just confused!

No it’s to create a new password it doesn’t need the same password as the home one, this will be a complete separate things, this is only to connect to your UTR

Once you turn the car off and leave you won’t be able to view anything on the UTR app because the WiFi connect would turn off and it will turn on again once you turn the car back on so you can connect to your UTR to view all the videos or even watch live view

Awesome! Thanks for the info. Mines getting installed at the dealer as we speak. I bought a 32gb SDHC card I’m hoping that works fine with the update. I’m assuming that’s why people have had problems, because 32 is the highest SDHC they make and that’s what was originally in there but 8. Your 128 is a SDXC

The wires are very exposed should be hidden, my Audi dealer has hidden all wiring so you can’t see any loose wires .

How much is installation or is installation included in the price of the purchase of this camera from Audi? You really need to get your game up and answer people so they can subscribe in the description you have nothing about the camera all you are doing is promotion yourself
