As a big Logic fan, I absolutely despise who he’s become. I get it, be happy, enjoy your family and loved ones, all that is fine, that’s not what bothers me. i think he sees his younger self as pretentious and deep down he knew that when he was younger. he laughs at younger him because he was trying so hard to be something he wasn’t, like i remember him talking about how he used to wear fake chains and rap about clothes he couldn’t even afford. it’s less of a “i hate my old self” and more of him making light of his faults as a person.
