@Kyle Kissinger tell me what I am doing specifically that he says in the interview
@anthony._l71555 жыл бұрын
@Kyle Kissinger yeah I didn't read that first comment right. Let me further elaborate on why everybody is not good: there's a great deal of talking on the album, he clearly lacks political knowledge on the song America (and on some other songs that I forgot cause I haven't listened to it in a while). Killing spree comes off as someone who's vegan that tells everyone that what they're eating came from a unholy place. And the album is called everybody but it mainly focuses on black people being proud and beautiful. And logic is super annoying when he wonders why people hated the album when it's about peace love and positive vibes and everyone and everything is equal. You have nothing to do but like the album or else your just a trump loving, black hating person. Of course some of the songs I like such as black Spiderman, the last track( I don't know how to spell), and even America. I guess I like the basic messages of the song but I mostly listen for the estetic. There's more I have to say about this but this is already a cluster fuck of thoughts. 3/10 logics most corny and cringy concept album.
@anthony._l71555 жыл бұрын
@Kyle Kissinger what I gave was criticism, not hate. I dont hate logic. Take it as negativity If u want but I want logic to improve, not give him a pat on the back and hand him a participation award.

Some artists STILL stand for something, they just aren't featured most of the time because they don't "stick to the message" that the record companies want you to hear, which is "Buy merch, act this way and do these things because that's what's cool." When really it's a smoke screen to keep the masses fighting each other and buying shit they don't need to keep the rich rich and the poor poor. Does anyone here really think record execs give two shits about some kid getting killed on the street because he had the wrong colors on or because he was on the wrong side of a certain street? Nah, these motherfuckers drink their $800 liquor and drive their Maserati's around LA and collect that money either way. THAT is the downfall of hip hop, people listening to the wrong message. Money, clothes, cars and hoes don't accomplish a damn thing.

This album was made to be listened to as a whole & in order. It is a concept album, where Logic (with the help of Tyson) literally invites you to be "open minded" and then paints the picture of his worldview to you $$$ It's not as political as people are saying. The brilliance of Logic here is that he does justice to the 'american-black-man's-plight' in this hip-hop album, yet mainly uses that struggle as a metaphor for the consciousness, reality & eternity of all men in history (& future) (no Hendrix) (well, I guess yeah, Hendrix included) (Jimi too). Anyways, I feel Logic in this project, sort-of invites you to be the black man if you will. I think he did it in a respectful way, though I'm not qualified to judge that as I am white, I'm not Kobe Bryant as my avi would suggest $$$ Finally, for who ACTUALLY listened, would you agree the point of the album is this? : When you hurt another, you hurt one's self and when you help another, you help one's self.

Logics album everybody was reviewed by the public waaaaaaaaaay too quick. First thing ppl got from the album was Race and politics. If that's all you got from this album then you weren't actually listening. As a fan of hip hop and a fan of music you should at least give the artist the respect of listening to the words they're saying.
@BiSONmusicofficial7 жыл бұрын
Legend Totally agree with you. This album is about so much, it takes a few listens to catch all of it. Most people listen to it once and catch very little, but they're quick to judge because that's what the interned does. I think this is one of Logic's best album, and I love that he chose concept over the mainstream style. The speeches on the album get tossed out so quickly and it's a shame because they have so much to say and so much to stand for.

okay let me be real. i heard the 1800 song first and it talked about dying and not wanting to be alive and how it turns to actually wanting to be alive and so i looked up the name of the song and i thought that if its a number then is it a suicide hotline and i was right and i was so happy as that song and lyrics i can relate to it makes me so happy that he pressed the matter of suicide, this led me to listen to the rest of the album. and dentate me but I'm not the biggest fan of hip hop or rap but as soon as i heard, everybody and take it back and black spiderman i fell head over heals with this artist and what he has came from and how his message is always peace love and positivity. he came from nothing is is something. He doesn't drink or smoke or anything like the other famous people out there do, if there is one thing it is that I've listened to him for 4 days and he is already one of the biggest inspirations to me and a great role model, i have so much more to learn but all in all just going to say, thank you logic for giving the world hope.

I don't know who has came up with the title of that video but definitely hasn't got that message...So powerful wisdom here, damn. I'm in awe of simplicity of the way he speaks about it, comes so natural for him. Bless. Spread it !
