Don't understand some of the comments here. I've had my 2022 Q5 Edition 1 since new and it's been a superb car. Comfortable, economic, reliable, very quiet and super quick, and 640 miles from a full tank ain't bad. When it's 3 years old I might trade up to an SQ5 but to be honest I'd be happy to keep it😊

An integrated screen should be the norm in this vehicle class.

Since this is quite an old model, the refresh should have integrated screens. Look at other Audi models which received an update recently. They all seem to have screens integrated. So it's not necessarily a question about vehicle "class", but rather about the old design decisions persisting for too long.

There's nothing special about this car, especially when compared to its competitors. The interior is on par with most modern volkswagens and looks the same as if it were still 2017 with that non-integrated and clunky ipad of a screen mounted awkwardly in the middle of the dash.

Clearly the aforementioned responders have no practical experience in the automotive area. I own a 2021 Q5, and have owned both VW and BMW vehicles. All three were superb! But comparing is nonsense. My current Q5, with the Prestige package is just plain outstanding under any measurement. DRIVE one, is all I can say!👍

I own a Q5 Sportsback TFSIe and would never recommend one. They have an inherent transmission problem and Audi are failing to address this and are expecting me to pay for a new transmission- after only 2.5 years. I bought the car in Spain (where I live) and up until recently they only came with a 2 year warranty. I’ve also had to have the windscreen replaced after 2 weeks of ownership as the windscreen looked like it was out of a 5 years old car with loads of small scratches and imperfections on the glass. Not what you’d expect from a car if this value. Additionally the handling is awful and when driven quickly feels like you you’re carrying 5 passengers and gold bullion in the trunk. My BMW X3 and X6 handled far better, though when I replace my car next year I’ll be looking at Chinese BYDs and Tesla’s. Audi are not the brand they once were and will never be able to complete with Chinese and South Koreans for quality and value for money.
