Audie's sister Nadine is still with us. It would be wonderful if she could collect the Presidential Medal of freedom on behalf of her late Hero brother. If anyone is reading this please sign the petition for Audie.

Well done Cassandra Audie Murphy has always been a hero to me. It's hard to believe that some of these people didn't know about him it's not there fault though. I was born in 66 yesterday was my 53rd birthday. My grandfather and uncle's all were in ww11 Audie Murphy was talked about all the time back then. I enjoyed this very much thank you.

I just noticed three thumbs down what is wrong with some people. Your video was short to the point and informative. Or did Audie do something wrong?

@@andyZ3500s rainbows and unicorns. Some people are traumatized if you talk about anything else.

Poverty didn't make the Murphy's turn to crime or lose their dignity. No, they honored their God and stayed moral and served their country with great distinction. God bless the Murphy family.

Michael H Right, hero’s never make excuses or blame someone else.
@ronniebishop24962 жыл бұрын
Yes people like him don’t make excuses and blame everything else but themselves. People who get up and do something about their lives are hero’s too. Even though it is just their reasonable service.

To Hell and Back is THE movie that introduced me to Audie Murphy and his life story, I can't describe the feeling it gave me (Elvis is the other person that impacted my consciousness as a kid so powerfully), when I first watched it and onward, AMAZING experience and human being, God Bless him. Thank's a lot for posting your video!!!!!!!

If Hollywood had invented Audie Murphy, even they wouldn’t have taken him serious, but yet he was real, he really did win every medal a soldier could get in the American military during WW2 including the congressional Medal of Honor. RIP Murphy , Audie.

When I was kid I thought Audie Murphy was just an actor, when I saw the movie To hell and back, amy dad told me that the movie is his true life story and he is the only war hero with so much decorated medals and a recipient of 3 purple heart the soldier in the history of the united states military. He only stand 5.5ft as a stature. What a brave human being , deticated to his country and patriotism spirit to his country at a tender age of 17. What a great human being, young people of past generation , current generation and the generation to come should take a piece out of this soldier. God bless you Audie, what you gave and served the US Army is connot be measured in my life time and beyond.
