Finally got a house and totally doing a dedicated group for audio. I just need to convince my electrician to use the Gigawatt breaker, installation cable and schuko outlets 😃

@@headquarteraudio5388 He is actually a video/audiophile himself and builds his own amps etc., so lucky find. If the parts are ok to work with and up to local regulations, I have hope! 😀

Very interesting!! I will buy 3 AHP since i have 3 dedicated solidcore from my fuse box. Great video 🙂

Equally important is to change the residual current device known as an RCD or an rccd it's expensive but it's made by Doepke

Hardcore HighEnder will never use something like that i think 😉 cheers Mike

Great video I've always wanted to find a Company who offered an audio grade circuit breaker I'll give it a go

Hi, and? :) Cheers Mike

@@headquarteraudio5388 Hello Mike I've done a bit more digging and have found that Doepke offer an audio grade RCCB in two versions a single phase unit rated at 40amp and a three phase version rated at 63amp. These devices are specifically made for theatres, recording studios and Hifi equipment the contact faces are silver plated and the internal wiring is large gauge high purity copper. The RCCB offers a high level of protection against electric shock only 30mA is allowed to flow when it detects a short circuit to earth, hope this helps.

How do I get your solid core cable. I would like 2 cables

How do I get the solid cable you made?

Hi Mike, how about the in-wall cables from fuse box to your rig? Did you change all to solid core cables or keep those regular cables?
@headquarteraudio53882 жыл бұрын
Hi, since I built and planned my house myself, I made sure that 3x 2.5mm² solid core copper was placed in the wall, a single line without another outlet. In Germany only solid core inwall is allowed.. dont forget the cable in the main fuse box TO the fuse, it must be solid core too ( 4mm² OFC )...cheers Mike

@@headquarteraudio5388 Do I need to get those cable braided and shielded with copper foil?

What about all the cables and fuses coming from the power plant all the way to sub station and then to out house? 😂

Try to change them 😉😘

The same thin thin wires in most audio component fuses (the 5x20mm) is also a bottleneck. Wish manufacturers would start using Gigawatt type of breaker

Do people even realise even thin guage wire is measured at mR per km?

@@headquarteraudio5388 Well that probably means nothing to most, but it does when you understand how electronic equipment is built, transformer primary resistances, tolerance of components, fact many loudspeakers have series resistances in single figure ohm values. Its pretty obvious upgraded fuses makes NO sense, provably so as well.
