there is no music with ANY resistor. Resistors don't have a freq. response, a time response, or a sonic signature.

Simply amazing. I tried it with my Pontus 2 plus Hermes DDC. I only loosened the screws of the XLR and AES out- and inputs for about 4 turns. Result: wider soundstage, preciser image, even more holographic sound, better bass. All the pros of the particular device are shining out a little bit more. And all the people, who think, he is crazy, have either bad hearing or simply a system, that's not refined enough. I assume, that with for instance with a 4k System you won't hear much difference. You need a good, high quality system, to benefit from these tweaks. But then, it can be a game changer. Thank you so much. Keep on twerking ... äh, tweaking. 🙂

You should have mentioned that the furutech fi33 ncf doesn’t fit in the original plate hole 😢. So this mod is not an easy one…

I tried turning off Roon radio, absolutely no difference. Not even slight. I have a $15k setup, in a dedicated room, with full acoustical treatment.... In case you're thinking, I can't hear the difference because the system isn't good enough.

I have that exact power supply for a Magna Mano ultra mkIII streamer..love both…you should head over to Magna HiFi and have them show you the Mano Ultra streamer…

all Ludic, no better cable known, 169€ is a gift, this sounds like nothing, meaning it is fast, open and adds nothing. Removed cables are only from the removed devices cheers Mike

Thanks for your video. What about the Grimm MU1 as the source for the Maria 350? Unfortunately the Maria has no AES/EBU in, but spdif will do as well I presume?

Spdif is ok for Maria, USB better. MU1 is for me a soundkiller, we had that at munich highend fair, plug it out and the sound of the analog turntable rig increased a lot... uuuh black sheep Mikey im now too...

I only use wifi for remote control of my streaming pc, all music is played from ssd. Do you think it's worth upgrading to that tp-link router? I have a wifi dongle on a 7 meter usb cable to keep it away from my rig.

if you only stream from a hard drive, it won't be that important, but since you have the radiation in the room, it will certainly have an effect when you get rid of it. I always fall asleep quickly when the wifi is on, or just get tired, but when it's off, I can listen to music for much longer without stress. cheers Mike

ah, but you can use LAN connection for your control unit ( USB C ? ), so you can shut off the wifi complete...better way...i did that with my Samsung Tablet, works...

I am happy to hear you are getting better performance with your changes.Now recognizing a better way You would be completely blown away with what is offered with the bleeding edge state of the art. It makes today's ultra high end generally sound overall lifeless and broken by comparison. I have been told by those who have audibly experienced what I refer to is why the Ultra High End industry and its pedaling influencers are petrified of these technologies being compared directly to any other supposedly best of ultra high end results
