I now realize after re-listening to this that she says if this were a date, she would be all smooth and charming and call the seer pet names like 'beautiful', and she later uses that exact pet name when they actually start dating! It's the little details like this that make this series so fun to listen (and re-listen) to!

A werewolf and a seer walk into a coffee shop, and they are goddamn adorable. Beth getting all flustered is PERFECT. I also really love that she clocks the change in the Seer's mood like immediately and checks in... and how she handles the vision as well. All cards on the table, I don't mind if you leave -- lets do this because we want to, not because of some potential future. I love it.

Wow look at this girl wolfsplaining being a seer to me. Like in a life of dealing with prophetic visions I haven't already thought about the implications for free will, and if anything acting on information from a vision is more likely to make it not come true. She should really be thinking more about the implications for everyone else's free will.

6:37 This has been bothering me everytime I come back to this audio (as I wait for the next one, of course! Love this so much). Anyway, I'll assume that she was going to say "half of the old pack." Which begs the question of what happened prior to their move. That event must have something to do with the pack anniversary Beth mentioned. So, due to the lack of evidence, I'll throw these two theories in the wind in hopes they'll get somewhere: 1) A tragedy happened in their previous place that killed half of their pack and forced them to move. 2) The OG pack had split due to differences in values and/or leadership and resulted in a feud in which half of the pack (Beth and Claire's) was driven off the original pack's territory. Hence, they decided to turn over a new leaf in Glenwood. But that's just a theory, a Glenwood Theory! Thanks for making this far to read my 3am thought process ^^

I just imagine Listener leaning up against the corner of the shop and just that innocent smug face listening in. The alpha and beta are best friends, sounds like a sitcom I would absolutely watch! By the end it did make me question what is a good time for a coffee date, like do you have it in the morning or just as it hits afternoon? Or late evening, when the sun begins to set and it's romantic *wink wink*

Beth doesn't have a sweet tooth because she's already sweet enough on the inside. (Yes, that DOES explain a lot, Beth) She really does shake down the Seer for letting the last audio happen but at the same time...What WOULD you tell the cops in this situation? "Yeah a woman is going to attempt to break into my home and assault me, and because my visions aren't always clear and accurate I don't know what day it's going to be. No I do not know her name, also please don't stake out the backyard where she'll be coming in, you'll risk seeing her shift from wolf form and blow the secret of magic. Thank you!" Jokes aside...Knowing where this goes, and the fact Beth and Seer don't just stay friends but get so close that Beth is gushing about Seer to the pack and Seer is getting lost in visions about Beth...I can't imagine what a bombshell this coffee shop reveal is for Beth. Despite her outward confidence, she doesn't exactly hide some of her insecurities about making friends and keeping people around very well, and has a very 'make your destiny' vibe to her. So to be told this person is your fated partner is one thing...But then realizing that the more time you spend with them the more that future looks possible, and also appealing? That despite what you've said you ARE falling into 'fate's path, and you WANT it? I can't imagine that position is an easy one to wrestle with, what expectations or pressure that might give both of them about perusing a relationship. We can't tell exactly HOW much Seer divulged (they're cagey about their visions, and that's it's own can of worms) but they let her know enough that she seems to get the gist at least... "I don't like you like that" yeah...that doesn't last long though, does it Beth? Feels like you managed a month at best.
