Update: I am emotionally devastated BUT that was excellent. The sprinkles of humor were very much appreciated and I loved the end. Top tier hug and I feel like we are so close to talking about feelings. Beth should totally let us be a werewolf at the fall festival. Onto lore stuff: We now know what the glamour from the meeting the wolf pack audio was for! Yay answers but it sucks how Claire got them. Alexander's crimes against humanity were also what messed up Claire's plant to be an EMT which is WACK. She deserves a break and to get what she wants because she's been through some shit. I wonder if Rachelle was the blood mage who healed Claire? Rachelle mentions that she wandered before she was turned and that she was a healer but I don't remember her specifically saying anything about healing anyone in the pack.

Glenwood feels like a powder keg that’s about to go off. Hearing about the upcoming fall festival only gives me feelings of dread lol. I feel like someone or something is going to turn it into a a tragedy. That being said, this is super compelling story telling. Loving all the little narrative hints you give us and thus honestly feels more like an audio novel or something. Keep it up! 👍

Love the constant and well done interactions and foreshadowing/ easter eggs of the other series you have going on in this wacky town, Like potenially the vampire savoir ( forgive me her name eludes me ) was the one who healed and attended to Clare. Small details and world building like that are what I find really gets people to stay or come back to see what they missed. You give me ER vibes with the creativity and tone shifts, and that's rare to come by. Nice work hun!

Love some emotional vulnerability from Beth, you know it's not easy for her. How the relationship has grown. Holy shit Claire needs a hug and a day off. Great stuff as always. Predictions. Can I get partial credit for previous predictions on the Alexander situation? You win some and lose some connecting red string on the corkboard. Love the reveal! Sorta called Claire getting appointed Alpha after the trial, Alexander being alpha and someone the pack argued about, and (charitably) deaths and exile for the older half of the pack before the move to Glenwood. Didn't think they'd leave on their own tho. Clearly Gen's sweetheart was not the previous beta, this reveal is starting to explain their dynamic with Claire and Beth tho. The angle I was considering for Alexander was also more along the lines of "he started a fight with something else (Possibly over a Mate, how do those work?) and got people killed" not "he was abusive and killed people when they tried to leave" adds a new perspective for the whole pack. Very interesting. Predictions on: The Rachelle Situation. (A.K.A The BBEG's Plan) Clearly Rachelle needs a blood mage for whatever it is she's planning, The Magical Something. At this point the hints point to either stealing the blood mage's power outright or fully mind controlling the mage to do her bidding. She calls them "Doll" cuz' she's playing them I see you with the petname on that one. She made a play for some ancient text or artifact fragment that tipped off Celine but it was a bust, whatever she was looking for has been moved in the time she became a Vampire. She hears about a Seer in Glenwood who turns out to be an Oracle who can see into the past. Perfect person to kidnap and torture to figure out what happened to the knowledge or key to The Magical Something. I thought initially she was the one to turn Gen but I'm now thinking maybe this ally she mentioned in her last installment, Isiah?, is the one who has turned Gen and is fully mind controlling her. I figure they wanted a thrall vampire close to Celine to keep an eye on her since she is the one in charge and monitoring The Magical Something. Celine's connection to the pack is known in Vampire circles with the Blood Drive. Gen might be the one to tip them off about the Seer? Unless everything Celine was talking about had to do with the blood mage who met the pack in which case this is all probably wrong. The blood mage the pack encountered is interesting. Unless there is a timeline shift or gap I can't imagine it's Doll or Rachelle before she turned. Maybe this is a new person, Celine's listener? Blood mage to replace the one who is going to die?😂Actually if this blood mage is a 'she' probably a new character rather than listener.

Going back and listening to this is just... wow. This is by far (in my opinion) one of the best and most well written audios in the whole series. Your opening with some light humor that transitions very well to the explanation of the story is really good and well paced. This story breaks my heart every time I hear it, and I fucking love it. The voice acting and storytelling just make it all feel so real and genuine. I'm so glad that Seer gave her the biggest hug because that's totally what I would have done. (That woman has been through some shit! I wish I could give her another one 😭) I absolutely love the healthy communication these two have. I simply live for stories like that. And the humorous teaser for the very excellent fall festival episode to end the audio is just so good. 😂 This is probably my second most re-listened to audio. (The first is probably the one where Seer first meets the pack) I fucking adore this series. Hope you're doing well, Castle. ❤️😄

Next it was good to finally find out who Alexander was also I got to say it was interesting to find out more about Claire too I already liked her due to what I've seen in past videos but now I respect her even more seeing what she had to go through. Fuck. ***OBLIGATORY SPOILER WARNING FOR REACTIONS BELOW*** Considering Alexander's description sounds exactly like my abusive father (professionally labeled and everything, yay therapy) - I am so, so sorry for the Pack having to deal with him. Hearing what he did... I felt revulsion, anger, fear (good god you are amazing at writing and voice acting, seriously, never doubt that). Hearing the stupidity of the group - I felt anger again. They put everyone at risk with that plan, they carry their part of the weight... and then just leaving? Seriously? Cowards and selfish assholes, the lot of them. Selfish, greedy, and self-centered. It's frankly miraculous they even stayed in a Pack at all, given their inability to look past themselves and their wants. Poor Claire. I really hope she gets an opportunity to lean on someone else one of these days (Ranger, perhaps) - something tells me she hasn't had that in a long time, not really. Beth's grief was understandable, as was her lashing out. It wasn't right, but it is understandable. And of course Claire chose her - she was her best friend, and she came back to help her. She showed a level of bravery and loyalty not everyone would have. I wondered if Claire's glamour was to hide something wolf related - part of her Alpha aspect or something. The scars were a second or third guess - and one hell of a thing to carry. Not just emotionally or mentally but physically, with how scar tissue acts (chronic pain and physical hindrance anyone?) Oh, Beth honey, that wrap-up was simultaneously hilarious and heartbreaking, FINALLY BETH GOT A HUG I WAS LITERALLY WAITING FOR THE RIGHT TIME TO GIVE HER ONE! Hardest part of being an empath who's physically affectionate: restraining the urge to hug until appropriate when someone is telling you a bad time. Gotta give them the space to talk first (assuming they are okay with touch, of course). ...Did Beth just give us an implied love confession? :o !!!! AW C'MON BETH THINK OF CLAIRE'S FACE XDD ...What about Little Red Riding Hood? Werewolf jokes are endless, c'mon lol

This whole video was just perfect a lot of questions I had got answered. I'ma be level with you for a second after Alexander was revealed I started brainstorming theories on who he was and his connection to the pack and one of the theories I landed on was him being the former alpha and being an abusive asshole with some falling out with the pack resulting in his death so as soon as Beth said he was the former alpha I shouted I FUCKING KNEW IT and probably woke up everyone in my apartment Really looking forward to the next video I am way too invested in this story and the wait is gonna eat me up inside but I know it'll be worth it take care Castle
