An absolutely cracking upgrade from the original LP60. I don't know what it is, but it seems to have the allure of quite a high end player due to the modern sophistication of it's build and appearance.

I just bought one of these as a Christmas present for my 14 year old daughter. I hope she'll be as excited to get it as I am to give it to her. It's a perfect starter table and a good price. Sure, there's better tables for more money, but I can always upgrade her down the line if she really takes to the hobby.

The expensive ones are just for knobheads to play around with the tone arm weights & it's complicated as I've got one & gave up so I bought this with Bluetooth which I will never use as it's fussing about. Just put the album on, press go & enjoy it.

Hi everyone. Unfortunately I'm still new to all this and don't know much about record players. Can you please help me? I would like to buy my brother a record player for his birthday. He's slowly getting into it and is now very interested in vinyl records. Do you think the AT-LP60X or the AT-LP60XBT would be better? What exactly is the difference? I read something on the Internet about the Bluetooth connection. Does that mean that the AT-LP60X doesn't have Bluetooth or what does the BT stand for on the AT-LP60XBT? Or does it work in reverse? So if my brother also wants to listen to records on his headphones, would that work with both or would only the AT-LP60XBT work? Thank you!

@@p.h.757 sorry! i made a mistake!. in the second example, its an amplifier (not a pre-amp) that you connect to. the turntable has a built in pre-amp already :) it should look like this: Turntable --> Amplifier or Receiver (the receiver is a type of amplifier) --> Speakers (passive) --> headphones it can get confusing occasionally

Do you know the difference between this and the "old" Aiwa-px-e850 ? I have the latter one sice years, it's exactly the same, same ATL stylus, every part of it is the same, instead of price.. What's really new? Is the pre-amp better? Because for the price the Aiwa does well also. you can get an Aiwa for maybe 20 box today. Only difference is the electrical input.. Which I don't find more convenient, the transistors are just inside of the Aiwa to change tension to something like 12-20V, I can't see any difference, the buttons are exactly at same place, just more "modern looking". Thanks.
@roderrickastley91222 жыл бұрын
Same. I have an old Aiwa PX-E800. Looks similar
@magnificblue43572 жыл бұрын
@@roderrickastley9122 hi, in fact I've been through both concrete built-in used in technical papers, they are basically exactly the same.. Only difference is the plateau being a cheap plastic on the Aiwa.. Other than that, and the fact that the Aiwa is very very light, and takes of course more vibration and should have a lower compliance regarding other quality features because of that, but no, the reading and output sound quality is equivalent. The electrical circuitry is almost same (some little minor differences having really no impact on performance, and both look like it has been assembled in 2 minutes by a child, really rubbish mounted inside, like sooo many devices, but it does the job haha). They just made it look more "new", finitions are in fact really better on the new audiotechnica, yes but for me doesn't worth the price. Yes true this turntable is a good quality entry level, the stylus is also very good one in the cheap prices, since it's release. So yes, if you have the Aiwa series, there will be zero upgrade buying this one, you will end up with same features with maybe electronic pieces that won't last you as long.. can't say..but in general today low price electronic pieces are less resilient that's another story). All good.

@@magnificblue4357 Hey how about the belt size? Any idea about what is the belt size? I want to change my belt but I don't have an idea about the size. If you can help me, would appreciate it much. Thank you!

@@roderrickastley9122 21cm diameter. You use another model than me, but looking at it, should be the same.

I’m assuming so but it only has a 7 and 12in setting but has anyone played 10in records on this?

You can manually cue 10 in records as long as they are meant to play at 45 or 33 rpm
