MAN! this is a tough'n. Ive watched you for longer than than i can pinpoint but of recent, its been hard to watch dude. Yeah no doubt all these are good enough choices. any he board will work done deal case closed. On the other hand, for people who dont know a ton oabout latency and stem wobble, board mods and on and on this is a nightmare. Almsot all of these are not a great option for that person besides maybe the cheapest. For the peripheral nerds like us, we aren't choosing these either( maybe nuphy and pwnage..maybe) I may be really off the mark and becoming more of a knowitall snob about what i think is what in the scene but looking at the latency charts and performance rating, Most of these boards are cheap for a reason

“Feels like a Chinese knock off” and then recommends the Chinese knock off lol. Lost any and all credibility with this one.

he def gets pissed if he doesnt get payed or at least get the products for free and made it insanely obvious with this one. its almost sad to see how such a old dude is falling apart in front of our eyes and doing pathetic shit like that. i dont even need to get into the details about the mouse cause is such a joke at this point :D

Pulsar is Korean though, but I get what you mean. Pulsar hasnt been perfect but my copies have been flawless ever since the X2v2 and Xlite V3 generation. Though right now, the EC clone market is so saturated that you can just go on Eloshapes, pick one with the minor adjustments that you think might fit your hands the most from a decently known brand and it would still probably be just fine quality wise, preference factors like clicks and coating aside.
@whatanoob967 сағат бұрын
Because anything made in Asia is a "Chinese knock off"... I'm sure he'll be devastated to have lost credibility from someone who thinks that way.
@MrGiggles21967 сағат бұрын
@@whatanoob96 it’s a cheaply made clone that sort of has a reputation for poor quality. Pulsar is fine, but to sit here and literally pretend that Vaxee mice are somehow cheaply put together and rushed is next level asinine. Also saying that Vaxee’s click implementation is awful is all I needed to hear to know that this guy doesn’t know shit about gaming mice. Vaxee clicks are the gold standard. This guy is next level hating.
@kaeroseon2 сағат бұрын
@@MrGiggles2196 click feeling is preference though. I do agree that its outrageously dumb to say it was cheaply put together and that it feels like a Chinese clone. But I do think recommending the Xlite is fair as it's probably the cheapest mouse that won't have plastic degradation and a good coating in the EC clone market, while also giving size options and a competitive price. I've been inside a few of them and they definitely aren't cheaply made. Good PCB reinforcement, strong clips and internal structure. The plastic is nice and thick and coating is 1:1 with Razer Black coating and Logitech white coating.

for 160 dollars i think a mouse should be perfect at that point. when i got my copy of this mouse I had inconsistent clicks, bad rattling inside, clicking grinding, and this flex issue you mentioned. i even had some molding deformity on the scroll wheel lol there was a bit of rubber that wasnt cut properly so it was sticking out. i was disappointed

I used the Rival 310 for years, which has the best ergo shape for large hands imo. As my current mouse was faulty it was time to find a new one and I have been trying a LOT of mice. But I ended up with the EC1-C, which is my new favorite mouse. It really has a superb shape for large hands and is a true replacement for the no longer produced 310.

My E1 disconnects randomly from the 4k receiver that came with it. I have yet to really troubleshoot that issue, but I will say my white copy has zero issues with build quality

I had the same initial impression with the Vaxee x Sora collab mouse I got. The "logitech" effect on the mouse buttons was definitely a surprise to me, because literally everything else on my unit is absolutely perfect. The clicks are super spam-able, all the buttons feel amazing, the wireless tech feels spot on, coating, the list goes on. But yeah picking up and moving the mouse around, it constantly makes that plastic-y rattly noise every time you put your mouse back down on your pad. That and the middle mouse wheel button being super hard to press on the left side vs. the right side of the wheel and the encoder they used feels pretty meh to me. It's kinda like a more scratchy Zowie encoder with less mechanical feedback as well as feeling super hollow. Kinda odd. Other than that though, I absolutely enjoy everything else about the mouse personally. It's basically exactly what I was looking for for so many years. Despite those small issues I have with it, it's absolutely still my main mouse. I agree with you though specifically for this shape of mouse. The pulsar option is a much better deal and it doesn't make sense really to go with the Vaxee for so much more money.

Watched your video on the Gen 1’s years ago and fell in love with that headset. Caught a used pair on Amazon for a $100-120 and it did great. Recently pulled them back out and the gen 1’s compared to the ps5 pulse is night day better. Now i can’t wait to upgrade to the new ones after this review. Again excellent reviews, much appreciated!

HS80 (not max) in 2025, will it still hold up? I should say, I’m currently using some random wired headset I picked up a couple years ago from GameStop for maybe 10 bucks so anything is an upgrade. But I’m debating between the HS80 or the Nova 5.

If you don't need xbox compatability the Corsair HS80 RGB Wireless has a mic that sounds 90% as good, produces sound that is 90% as good, and is lighter and more comfortable for 1/4 the price...I guess technically the A50x has Bluetooth while the HS80 RGB Wireless does not, but the Bluetooth is tied to the giant base station, not like you're going to be carrying that thing around anyway. It'd be good if you did a wireless mic sound comparison mega cut between all the ones you've reviewed. Avoid the HS80 max, the microphone is terrible compared to the older HS80 RGB Wireless. Even after the firmware update.

Don't get me wrong, the A50 are dope, especially if you have a desk with the space for the dock and you on play multiple systems... being able to switch so easily is big seller. But they are very pricey and my biggest concern was, I went to 3 different stores to check these out, crazy but out of all the display models these were the only headphones that had broken headbands.. the cushion in the center "popped" out/broke and that headband was not that comfortable for a $300+ headset

I’ve had the nova pro for awhile now I wanna say 2 years honestly can’t remember when I got them and I absolutely hate them. They are very uncomfortable for some reason I would say I have an above average head and they hang on my ears causing irritation and the worst problem is horrible audio issues that the best way I can explain it is that when lots of things happen on my game the audio starts colliding with itself haven’t been able to figure out a solution. Rechargeable batteries is a great feature though.

If anybody is considering WC pads for their M50x’s, I recommend dekoni instead. WC’s are VERY comfortable, but change the sound too much. Stock M50x pads are like half the thickness, so it’s a drastic sound change. They’re great on my hyper x cloud alpha’s tho.

Hey Techne. Great video as always. I'm using Xbox series X only at present and am thinking of getting new headset. I have Steel Sries Arctis Nova 5x currently and was trying to decide on whether it's worth upgrading. Was looking at the new revised Nova Pro Wireless or Turtle Beach Stealth 700 gen 3. What would you recommend ?
