Wow. I heard the previous version with Spectral gear and it was very similar to what Adrian said, a very unique sound that really nails all the detail on a very high level. Thanks for the XVX & Alexx V analogy, I was also wandering about that. And may I say, how much better I like looking at the speakers in this color, I think it makes a huge difference compared to seeing them in a screamy yellow or Orange.

I loved the solo video Adrian!! I believe that this is something you should continue into the future as it will those of us that have heard particular pieces of gear will get a good idea of your "hearing profile" (for lack of a better term). Also, how about a video on the Bentley, AMG, etc.?

I would like to thank you for your videos, Adrian. I learn as much from them as I enjoy them. The approach that you (and Vilip) bring to us - think philosophy, emotional engagement, and experience - is the reason that I keep returning to your channel. There is just one suggestion that I have - and it might have something do with my near-field listening set up while watching your KZbin video - is the sound quality that I hear. To my ears, it is boomy. I need to use equalization to tune out bass frequencies. Perhaps you could listen to the playbacks yourselves and see if you find a need to make adjustments to the miking setup or to the recording equipment...

Great advice, fantastic video. Yes, those Vandersteens were quite awesome, Duke Ellington’s piano was so sweet. The A/R’s were quite impressive too. On the other hand, those “Accu” seemed out of “phase”.

Hello, Adrian hope you are well. An unrelated question Can you tell me which outlets you are using for your system with the Wilsons? Attempting to eliminate the hum I have with my phono set up. Could just installing high quality outlets help with this issue or do I need separate runs with proper Romex to resolve this? thank you JP

Totally agree on the music and emotions first. Can I have that plus "sonic magic", all the better. For me the musicality thing depends on - tone, tonallity, timber. - timing in the whole frekvenz spectrum (Prat). Sync between bass, mid and upper in the time domain. - a sence of realism (a three meter tall woman with a giant mouth doesn't do it for me). - a homogenous presentation where the different parts/instruments play together, are connected. For likeminded with a small or limited budget I can recomend Triangle speakers. For amps Denon, Rega and a lot of vintage will do fine. Cheers.

My Tekton Electron SE Bi-amp in Black/Black Ash is my speakers. These to me, are the best!

I have the same speakers and they are certainly not the best. They’re barely used now after I bought Focal Sopra. Huge improvement over the Tektons is an understatement
