great video but it would be even better if you lost the occasional background music - if you have a hearing loss, that makes it really difficult

Thank you. I have a question here: in normal people, why AC threshold is a little bit higher than BC threshold while in Rinne test AC>BC(AC can still hear when BC can't)? the two results seem contradictory. plz help!

Hi there, thanks for your comment. This illustration shows how load specific sounds (e.g. a plane) are. Sounds at110-120 dB are very loud. If a person is not able to hear those any more, they have a profound hearing loss.

@@medel If you cannot hear 120dB it means your Deaf....... With a capital D.Joyce Haynes!. Profound is 90-120 db loss. If youre not hearing 120dB, Youre Deaf.... This is my world of expertise. Cheers.
