@C--A2 жыл бұрын
@@Bluecrabsandsushi The custom Perlisten S5c could of been made longer in length and fitted. So like the S7c same length but shorter depth. But I see several ornaments on the AV unit. So maybe that's why they went with a less long custom Perlisten centre channel.

Perlisten are an excellent company to deal with. I live in Australia, I ordered a pair of D212s for my stereo system. After watching your review of the D215s. Dan and Lars organised to have the subs shipped directly to my address from their factory. It was a very smooth transaction. The subs were delivered to my door. I have the D212s integrated with my MBL101e Mk2s using a DEQX HDP-4. They are a delight to listen to. I would also love to hear the S7ts.

Congrats 🥳 Did you have any subs there before?
@petertreyde32122 жыл бұрын
@@Harald-MacGerhard No, the MBLs are a full range speaker. The aim of adding the Perlistens was, within the limited placement options I have, to achieve a flatter bass response throughout the listening room. I think that has been achieved , at least to my satisfaction.

SO I understand that one of the top guys at Perlisten came from MK Sound. Oddly I have a 7.4.4 MK Sound S300 system in my home theater. I have love it. The S300's and the S300T for surround and atmos have been wonderful. I have 4 X12 subs in the front wall. I have had the system for 5 years and I am sad to say that 2 of the subs have failed. I thought it was just 1 but its 2. I did talk to MK Sound and they are willing to send replacement amps for $500 dollars that I can swap out but I am more than a little concerned that the subs will fail in the future. 5 years does not seem so good to me to experience two failures and I don't blast them either. Anyway so I decided to go with Perlisten D212's sight unseen. I just went for it based off all the reviews here and elsewhere. They will fit in the same space as the X12's but I think will be a huge upgrade. I talked with Erik at Perlisten and he hooked me up with Padukah home theater in Kentucky and they got the subs shipped in 1 day. Should have then 12/30/22. Can't wait.

@@NoobOnALiter I would say a partial yes based on the following. THX dominus rating means the system can play loud enough and clean enough in a dedicated home cinema above a certain size.
