Thank you Doug for demoing this great synthesizer. I purchased this at $4.99 USD and just in time, too. 😅 The sale ended on November 1, 2018. O.M.G. I am a guitarist that is now a Synth-Head... and I love it! I am saving my money to move to Japan in a couple of years & am being pretty tight; but I could not pass up this deal. I do say that AudioKit sure makes some fine iOS instruments.

Even at the $14.99 price this would be fantastic... They still have a 33% off going now, so $9.99. I've only had a few minutes of messing around, but I love it. And has anybody noticed that the reverb hangs over when you change patches? There isn't that abrupt cutoff...

Just downloaded this (again) masterpiece! What sounds!! 1 question: there’s an import button (always hoping I could download my own sounds/samples) but everything on my apps like in e.g. Audioshare is in grey/not active. So what exactly can one import exactly? Which format(s)?
@analogmatthew6 жыл бұрын
Thanks for asking. While the app is set to use the 1 gigabyte of sounds it comes with. The import allows for presets/banks made and exported with Digital D1 to be imported. It's a smart import button. It will know if you are trying to import a bank or preset. For example, the AudioBus forum is considering making a bank of presets. The synth engine is quite capable. And, you might be surprised at how easy it is to make your own presets to share with other musicians.

MATTHEW FECHER where are the 1gig of included sounds, looking at the app size in iPad a settings it says the whole app is only a few 100 mb?
@analogmatthew5 жыл бұрын
@@powerbastion1083 Hi Alex, it uses wavpack compression to keep the sounds down to 100 mb using 10:1 compression to keep the app nice and light. That's why there is a delay when switching presets, it's the sounds decompressing. Thanks for asking!

Does it AU? (Answer from Matthew Fecher below: It’s in alpha as of late October 2018; it’s been in a branch of their github for a month. Great news). That’s the one thing missing in their wonderful (and FREE) Synth One. Can’t sequence or arpeggiate it from GarageBand. I’d pay for an AU Synth One, if anybody’s listening. Love that thing.
