Can we just get like a one hour video of just the 2 of you rambling on about anything and everything? I could watch that non-stop. In my 20+ years career as a Chef (I'm no longer doing that) I had some good coworkers, even some that became friends, but you guys have something special. Happy birthday, Rhys! Wishing everyone a happy Christmas and Hanukkah! Since you asked, the Christmas tradition in our family is we don't give gifts amongst the adults. For years we tried drawing names or a secret Santa or something like that. It never worked out well. In 1993 my grandfather suggested that all the adults would instead put $25 into a pot (cash only.) Then we would draw a name and that person would win the whole pot. It only took two or three years and we changed it to the survivor lottery where the LAST name drawn wins the whole pot. It's a great game. Nobody has to shop for something that they hope someone will like. Nobody gets just stuff that they don't need or want. Everybody likes cash. It's always the right color and size. There is usually $250-$300 in the pot, which the winner always counts in front of everyone and they get bragging rights for the year. It's really fantastic and we look forward to the game every year. Fingers crossed that I win this year!
