I enjoy the medical terminology mixed in, it does keep one oriented that these are real medical procedures. I have to add that I think your energy is amazing, 20 minutes of voice over with no dead air and that with only a camera to talk to. Thank you

I’ve watched your videos for a long time and I enjoy them. I don’t understand how anyone thinks they have the right to tell you how to make them. I’ve never once considered telling you how you should explain things. You offer the viewers free content and I know you want to make all viewers happy but people need to let you do your own thing. Please explain things how you feel the most comfortable.

I absolutely totally agree. I think those of us, who have been with Rhys longer than Taylor even, have watched him evolve. His early videos showed Rhys in the learning KZbin stage. He was always so kind & patient. Now if we see what we perceive as disrespectful comments, it makes us very protective. Just my thoughts 🩵🩵🩵🩵

A lot of us like the medical terminology. I know I do. Those watching just for the gross pictures probably won't mind what you say, but for those that understand all the parts of the ear and the conditions, having you use the correct terms, relays so much in a single sentence. It's one of the things I enjoy about your videos. You are actually explaining the diagnoses, and how they manifest, not just going, "EWW> Look at this! It's gross !"

Great job Rhys. I think you are doing a fantastic job. I think you should remember that we keep coming back to see you and now Taylor. I really enjoy both sets of terminology. Crosswords, for example. Latin for bone. Os! It helps, too, in medical situations when the GP tells you your daughter has idiopathic dermatitis, and one can say, “Yes, I know she has a rash. That’s why we’re here.”

Finally, unlike other commenters, I can understand how the patient didn’t know the dome was stuck in his ear. I appreciate both the medical terminology and the occasional reminder of what it means. :D With the cholesteatoma-- was the redness further back in the canal a result of the discharge and general moisture in there inflaming the skin, or was that potentially a second one forming?

With the cholesteatoma I always wonder how much clearing up all of the surrounding wet kind of discharge will help or if it comes back fairly fast and is time not well spent. I know referrals to ENT can take a long time unless they decide to go private and I would hate for a problem like "it's just your bone eroding" to have to wait.
