After seeing so many high end esoteric systems, its nice to see more of the common man type systems that you throw in here. Thank uou for shining a light on some of us who cannot afford some of the equipment that is in the stratosphere, as well as some that is!! You've done a great job of mixing it up! Thank you, Steve!

@@keplermission4947 i don't recall bringing up realistic brand anything...there was only one example of thrift store equipment. My only comment involved some systems that were less grand than most. It is always so interesting to see the amazing collections of fine audio systems from your very dedicated followers. It’s like attending a museum of fine art on display and most of these systems are of high artistic quality sonically and visually. Steve’s Shirts should be on display in a fine art museum. I’m sure many followers will agree with me on this as well 😉 No one “rocks” the shirts like Steve! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I was amazed a couple of weeks ago when my system was shown second - and then just yesterday I saw it again as the title page for part two! Man, I must be livin’ right or something because it’s a modest little rig compared to so many others. But it is a labor of love, just as Steve’s show obviously is for him. We must’ve been tuned to the same frequency for a second when I snapped that pic. Thanks Steve, it’s an honor. Love the show. Keep doing you, and giving us so much to look forward to.

Decent speakers can be had for reasonable prices if you do you're research. But having good speakers alone won't maximise the sound performance. For that you will need to acoustically treat the room. As the room accounts for anywhere from 40% to 80% of the sound performance.

Love the pics and stories....... Two suggestions: a. change categories to under 30, 30 to 60, and 60 and over... And add a new category - Vintage audio only! Let's see systems mostly comprised of vintage audio - pre-1960 or before.. I think that would be fascinating and I started building my stereo in the late 1950s.......

I run my Adam-T5V with a small Abacus-preamp, an Adam-Sub8 and an Audiophonics-DIY-Rasberry-DAC, which is an excellent combination in my eyes, especially at low volumes.
