I grew up watching Terry and he was my favorite player. I was a football junkie and he was the best quarterback that I ever saw. Put him in a big game with that rifle arm he was really something to watch. No one could throw a football with him in any era. His teams could play with any team in any era, with that defense and that offense with Terry at quarterback and Swann and Stallworth at end. Another great player with old fashioned values. Thank you Terry for the memories.

Terry was Ozark Ike when he was drafted by the Steelers. This was his history with many many Steeler fans throughout his career. To this day noone denies he is the ultimate Steeler. I have a personal connection with Terry and how he helped my mom when they were on a flight together returning to Pittsburgh. He took care of an elderly woman and helped her by carrying her luggage through the terminal. Just what you would expect from a good old country boy would do. Everyone that is a Steeler fan in Pittsburgh loves Terry Bradshaw.

The most entertaining interview of this series so far, hands down. I laughed, I cried.WOW!! Thank you Joe for another classic. I grew up a Ken Stabler(Oakland Raiders) diehard in the mid 70s, so you can imagine my hatred of Bradshaw at the time. Terry was just so frickin' good, it was unreal and frustrating to watch. But man, that was some mean ass football to witness. What a great person this southern boy is. Thanks again for this, from Tim in Ontario, Canada!!

My father had season tickets in Pittsburgh from 1950 until 2010 when our family let the tickets go. I watched Terry Bradshaw play most of his home games in person and loved watching the development of the Steelers dynasty. Pittsburgh fans are defense first type of fans so the Steeler curtain was the #1 priority of the fans. It was the identity of the team when they won their first two super bowls. The second two Super Bowl wins , the offense and especially terry (and Franco) was the story. The D was still huge but with Terry’s arm and towering drive and talent, I think that the Steelers may not win those second two. What great great memories and what a terrific interview!! Kudos to Joe buck for doing a terrific job!

Terry Bradshaw is one of my all time football heroes. I grew up in the 70s-80s and was just coming of age and discovering football in his glory days. In addition, I’m a fellow southern boy who has gone through ridicule and all that. Moreover, I grew up with tough discipline (Ie, getting my @$$ whipped for f-ing up). Also. Fought my way to some semblance of success with undiagnosed depression issues, etc. I loved his game when I was a kid. And I love the man after I’ve learned about the background and the struggles he faced in college and as a pro in his football life. Amazing, cool, inspirational man. Awesome.

This guy is great. One of the best personalities ever. Broke my heart twice in the 70s against my Cowboys, but those Steeler teams were on another level. God bless you, Terry.

I remember watching all their games as a kid and I was in awe at how good they were even at a young age, I also had the Terry Bradshaw leather football and loved it!!!

He is such a fascinating character with an interesting, loud and vivacious personality! I love Terry Bradshaw! So real, so honest, so transparent, so true to who he is and he has a way about him where he's able to convey to us how he exactly felt deep down inside when he experienced these moments in his past. Wow, I had no idea Terry and coach Knoll didn't really like each other and were wrong for one another as player and coach but yet were able to disregard that and win football games together anyway. How sad that he really didn't get to enjoy his success the way players normally do while it was happening. But he did admit it felt good to win! And that's interesting how he said he had a fear of losing in the Superbowl. Guys like Fran Tarkington and Jim Kelly sure know what that feels like. Just an awesome interview that I thoroughly enjoyed. I always knew Terry Bradshaw was special but hearing his whole life story now, I have a deeper respect and love for the man. Especially knowing that he was hated by Pittsburgh even though he gave them so much. Joe Montana and Terry Bradshaw -- both 4-0 in Superbowls. And both played in the day when qbs got killed consistently wirhout flags to save them.
